"Mike was able to get everything accomplished very efficiently and well. He arrived within the expected time window. Replaced toilet seat at no charge. Gave us clear estimates on additional work. As always, so very satisfied with Mike and Servant Plumbing. Know that repair people from Servant are experienced and competent. Find cost of installations for all work, not just Servant, is more than we would expect, but that's where skill and experience factor in. Did not get multiple estimates because we have had such a positive experience with their work in the past."

"We needed 3 old metal bathroom sinks removed and replaced with identical size in porcelain. We also upgraded all the faucets. A new dryer vent was installed to replace the old one and two exterior faucets on the sides of the house were stabilized/secured. AJ is a good communicator. We were undecided about which finish to choose for the spare bathroom faucet so he brought 2 different ones so we could decide. AJ was great at communicating, prompt, and did a great job. His quote was very competitive. We will use him again and will recommend him to anyone needing a good plumber."

"Wilde plumbing is my go to company. They are veteran owned, extremely trustworthy, friendly, and affordable. The owner came over and fixed a hard to reach pipe, installed some fixtures, and replaced a whole toilet. They are the only people I trust in my house."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Columbia, SC

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
