We had 2 retaining walls (the larger one 6.5 ft. tall x 43 ft) and steps replaced. The 2 person crew was on time, worked all day (weather permitting for February). Their work in integrating the steps was impressive; and we appreciated the precision in cutting the caps and ensuring the corners were mitered exactly. Looks great. We are very happy with the outcome and have some additional work we will be using them for in the future."

"I found Brothers Masonry through Angi (Thanks Angi!). Tim, Matt and Crew were excellent. Started with free quote. They were a couple months out and we set a date to rebuild Masonry walls (from a building fire), Rework Door Thresholds (to add a traditional garage door), and remove an old chimney. Matt even called the night before scheduled work was to commence to reconfirm. The team finished the job in 3.5 days and even patched a hole in my floor next to a door that wasn't in scope. Came in slightly under quote which helps the budget (we did not wind up needed as much replacement block). Great job guys, Thank you!"

"I had picked three highly rated vendors from Angie's list for quotes for this work. I ended up picking Miller even though they weren't the cheapest or the one promising the earliest completion. I was impressed with Ron Miller's professionalism and willingness to work with us to define the project and work out the details. For example, we had planned to have our grandson install the block walls and we had already purchased most of the block. When he returned to school, we decided to hire a hardscaper to finish the work. Miller was happy to use our block. We decided to expand the job and added replacement of wooden timbers around some beds. We expressed concern about the normal timbers that are most often used because we were afraid of chemicals leeching into the vegetable beds. Miller worked with us to source cedar timbers at half the normal price for these timbers. I liked his willingness to allow me to assist on items that I was qualified to help with. Miller provided diagrams of the work and explained the materials he would use. I had someone familiar with construction review his plan and he approved of Miller's methods. Another sign of professionalism and not cutting corners to reduce costs as one vendor proposed. Miller was the only vendor who said he would not be able to complete the job before winter set in, but I counted that as a plus for honesty and pragmatism. Miller's crew (usually led by a family member), came out to work when weather permitted and finished the job in a reasonable amount of time given the weather conditions and late authorization to proceed. I would definitely use Miller again. If you value honest, professional work at a reasonable price, I recommend Miller to you as well."
