"Mose Troyer does excellent work. He is honest and easy to work with, a real professional. He easily finds solutions to difficulties. We had multiple projects that we presented to Mose. One being a utensil tray for the kitchen drawer that he built from a design that I wanted but could not find commercially. The tray fits like a glove and will last a lifetime. Also, we had exterior doors that had wood rot. Mose meticulously carved out the rot and cut many small, intricate pieces of wood, to replace those areas without compromising the original design of the front entry door. It turned out that the rot was deeper and more pronounced than originally thought, but Mose worked diligently and with great skill to make both exterior doors perfect. Mose also cut and placed a vent in a bathroom and designed and installed an access door for exposed plumbing in the laundry room. I highly recommend Mose Troyer for his skill, courteousness and overall kindness. I will be utilizing him again in the near future."

"We used Storm Guard for storm damage to our roof. We could tell we had a small leak due to a wet water spot on the ceiling from inside the house. This is our first owned home and have lived here for 10 years. We never had to go through this process before so I honestly didnt know how it worked. After each larger storm there were several contractors that would stop by and tell me they will get the insurance to buy a new roof. After a few failed attempts and insurance denying the claims I gave up and decided to start saving money for a new roof. Then Gavin stopped by with Storm Guard after the last larger storm. Gavin took the time to walk through the entire process and took over communicating with my insurance agency. Working with Gavin at Storm Guard felt like i had a heavyweight fighter in my corner. He was able to get approval for a new roof and ceiling repair. My Insurance kept fighting me on what minimally needed done. Gavin made sure everything was done correctly. He never tried to upsell me. He did explain the different types of material and shingle that can be used and what he suggested which was only slightly higher than what my insurance was willing to pay. After research and consulting with a friend who knew way more about this stuff than I, we concluded that what Gavin was saying was correct and a smart investment for out main investment (our home). Once approved and materials ordered, Gavin had a team out here in less than a month and we had a new roof. It made a HUGE difference to the outside appearance of our home. So much so that I felt some other DIY work needed done so it motivated me to complete some other aesthetics to the outside of our house. I was not paid or swayed to say any of these things. I truly feel the way I do because of working with Gavin at Storm Guard. At times you can never tell if the person standing across from you is taking you for a ride. I never had that feeling from Gavin. He is an honest, good person. It was great having him on my side."

"Believe the reviews! Hart was a pleasure to work with and very communicative with scheduling and materials. I had an original set of stairs that broke and needed replaced. I know that can get complicated quick in a home built in 1959, so I found Sturdy Woodworks through Angi’s List. Several other flooring companies took a look, but many of them are equipped for complete stair/floor finishing and replacement (mainly larger jobs) which is pricey. I can sand, stain, paint, and all that…but structural repairs; I needed a pro. Hart replaced 5 stairs treads as well as secured my risers and stringers better. Well, my stairs have never felt more solid!! He also did the first staining of the treads and gave me some tips for finishing and sealing them..which I’m in the process of doing now. I couldn’t have asked for a better result. Getting work done on your home can be stressful and a bit scary to say the least. However, I never felt that way throughout the whole process. It’s rare these days to find quality workmanship and integrity. Reward the good ones! Thanks again!"
