"Excellent. I called for emergency help as my plumber said furnace shut down was due to block in flue. It was cold and I needed flue fixed asap to be able to get heat back on. Boston sweeps had no available appointments, but switched me to their emergency service consideration and came out same day for $150 "mercy service extra fee. That seemed fair to me as they - and others - were booking into January. They did an excellent clean out (man in bsmt/man on roof) and made strong recommendation to reline chimney, replace cap to avoid future blockages. I trust their recommendation as a several years back a chimney sweep said we would soon need to reline. They sent me an estimate by next day. It was pricey, but I think it is because it's a 3 story house. the estimates I saw online were significantly lower, but they were national and did not specify height of chimney. All in all, very solid work and can't argue (much) with the estimate."

"Louis (the owner) came out to give us a free estimate and suggestions about whether or not we needed to have a mason chimney lined (or relined).  Another company had told us we needed a new liner at a cost of $4000-6000.  The owner of this company came out on a snowy day and was extremely professional and knowledgeable as well as honest.  He told us that we do not need a liner and even if we had wanted one, how impossible it would be to put in a liner because the chimney itself was too small and bent around the fireplace.  He gave us suggestions about not using fireplaces except with fake logs or to have a gas or wood stove insert put in instead of burning wood.  He also suggested to my upstairs neighbor that he have the pipe from his furnace to the flu replaced and went back to his truck to get aluminum tape to make a temporary repair. All at no cost, but just because it was the right thing to do. How rare it is to find a company that operates on the assumption that being honest and telling people what they actual need or don't need?! <br /> Louis works out of Norwood with his son.  While he didn't do any "paid" work for us today, I would trust him in a heartbeat if we do need something done.  Please don't hesitate to contact this chimney company.  What a relief and a pleasure to deal with someone both honest and knowledgeable about his profession."

"John and his team were excellent. We had our roof done in November 2018 and exterior paint job in May 2019. John showed up the same day I asked for a quote at the time he said. Provided me with the quote and got to work a couple weeks later. His crew stripped the two layers of shingles on my roof, installed a new roof (and a mushroom vent), cleaned up and were gone before I got home. The yard was spotless and I didn't find any evidence of them being there. Since it was November, he was no longer in painting season and said he would do the job in the Spring. This past May, John and his team got to work on painting the house. His crew showed up early, scraped, sanded, power washed, primed and painted the entire house. Took about 4 days. His crew was professional, prompt, and cleaned everything up meticulously. I would definitely recommend John to anyone looking for a well done roof by a responsive and punctual professional."

"Brad arrived and assessed the situation. He described the repair (installation of a stainless steel tube inside the chimney) and emailed a quote with accompanying photos of the view from the roof down and at the bottom. He said he had several installations lined up and wasn't sure when those would be cleaned up. Fortunately for me, he had a cancellation and was able to do the work. This was done in February with snow on the roof. I was pleased at the professionalism and speed of repair."

John was very thorough in what needed to be done and how it needed to be done so as to not incur any additional cost (headaches). When the time came for the work to be done, John and Miguel showed up on time and went right to work. "They did a GREAT job! They first ran into permit problems in Brookline, but Rich (?) was able to fix that and didn't charge me extra. Then on the day of the work, they showed up and worked through to the next day and removed the whole chimney from the inside without making a dent in the house. I was MOST impressed with this as I have 2 small children so dust is a big deal to me. Since they are so prompt and efficiently, i was able to coordinate with my roofer to come in on the same day to seal up the roof. At the end of the day, you couldn't even tell that someone had removed a chimney just minutes before. Highly recommended! <br />"
