"We chose ABI because we were comfortable with their assessment, quote details, and ability to answer our questions thoroughly. We went with polyiso boards and cellulose as the materials. The price was very fair. The day they did the work, with Flo and Carlos onsite and part of the crew, they were focused, professional, friendly, and careful with our home and belongings. Any hiccups along the way were problem-solved and dealt with immediately. They not only left the inside clean, vacuuming after they removed the runners they brought, but made sure to check the outside of the house and swept the driveway for any small debris. The final check included a walk around the outside of the house. We knew they had to remove the siding to drill the holes to blow in the cellulose, but you would never know that the siding had been disturbed. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone else looking for a fair and honest home insulation company! "

Not only was I expecting him to refinish my hardwood floors, I was asking him to come in and work miracles to repair the damage done by another contractor who had a damaged machine created wavy distortions to my floors. Lou made them look beautiful again! He was very honest about what he could and could not make perfect and his work always exceeded my expectations. Lou was careful to keep his work area very clean, cleaned up after himself daily and protected my other living areas by sheeting off the rooms he was refinishing. The final finish is so beautiful, with four coats of satin urethane, I think they look better than the factory finish. I would highly recommend Lou to anyone in need of hardwood flooring installation or refinishing."

"repair several pieces of granite floor tiles. ~remove and replace grout from an oversized living space, kitchen, bathrooms, mud room and hallways including counter tops and breakfast bar. ~clean granite tiles that had layers of grime from previous owner. "sand and refinish wood floor and railings in loft. During the early stages of the work, we decided to make some big modifications in what we wanted to have done and Tomahawk just went with the flow. They were able to easily make the changes and come up with alternative ideas. Communication and reliability are crucial when working with contractors and we have to say that Ritchie answered each one of our questions, concerns, and requests no matter what time of day it was. We never felt neglected or worried about lack of communication. The work is being done beautifully with concern for details and it's obvious that Tomahawk takes pride in their finished labors. "The team from McLaughlin Weatherization, who completed the work from my Mass Save Program energy audit to install insulation in my attic was AWESOME! They were a team of 3, who ensured the job got done efficiently and well. Professional, courteous and personable! I was very pleased with how they entered my home, treated my home and me while in it and when they left they even brushed up the very last of any dirt they might have brought in. I cannot rave enough about how great the experience was because I was able to work downstairs and stay out of their way but they definitely went above and beyond in my opinion! I didn't know the front door would get a package of weather stripping too. So while that was nice, the guy in charge of the team of 3 not only removed the old to install the new, the front door closes properly now! I cannot thank you enough for this small act of kindness (even if it was fixed with the new trim) because I had been so worried about my kitties getting out one day because the latch would not catch to keep the door closed. Also, the senior member leading the team demonstrated his years of experience and knowledge and explained everything to me and answered all my questions.
