"MA Design and Construction did a wonderful job on our kitchen and main floor remodel. Marc and Raquel helped my husband and I to vision an open floor concept, and they were available beyond their normal business hours to answer both design and installation questions (which we had quite a few). We felt comfortable to both call and text frequently to keep communication open, and they were willing to offer as much design input as possible to make those important decisions much easier. Even when issues arose (as is to be expected with major house projects), Marc was usually at the house that day or the following day to assess the issue and come up with solutions. The workers were polite, punctual, and professional (especially the painting team) who we grew to love! We will certainly use them for future house projects."

"So I had Roberto and Joci back to do the bathroom floor. Before Roberto tiled, he carefully walked the seemingly good subfloor. He found a soft spot and pulled up a section of subfloor. Underneath was a rotted subfloor and several layer of tile and a rotted piece of frame. The previous owners had covered up rotted wood with a new subfloor. Thank goodness for Roberto's attention to detail and expertise. By finding the problem now, he saved me huge problems later. They worked overtime to make sure we were all set for Christmas. I looks beautiful and more importantly it is structurally sound. I am very grateful."

This is actually the second time we have used Superior Kitchen & Bath. The first time they gutted and created a new powder room for us. It was such a wonderful experience we hired them again to gut and remodel another full bath. At the same time they also remodeled a lower level family room and laundry room that had been heavily damaged by a sewerage backup.

II can't say enough about Brandon and Jane and the crew of Superior Kitchen and Bath. They are professional to the ultimate degree. Brandon and Jane have assembled a crew (and subs) who are expert craftsmen in their particular areas of expertise. From the carpentry (both rough and finish) to the plumbing to the floor and wall tiling to the painters who were neat and efficient beyond description, everyone that worked for Superior on our project was beyond competent. It was so comforting to know that we were in such capable hands.

Both Brandon and Jane are amazing businesspersons. They started by listening carefully to our ideas and gave us great advice. They were open, honest and "upfront" about everything. Then we received the most detailed and complete project estimate we had ever received from a contractor. It was totally transparent and we knew exactly how much each area of our project would cost. That allowed us to better manage our budget and work collaboratively with them to establish our priorities. Their contacts with suppliers made choosing tile and marble a breeze, especially since Jane was right beside me, helping to make detailed design decisions that can sometimes be so overwhelming. Throughout the whole process I always felt that Brandon and Jane were "partners on OUR team". We had complete confidence in them which made what could have been a very stressful time (what remodel isn't stressful!) a wonderful experience.

II could go on and on about all the fun this project actually was. Brandon and Jane actually gave ME, the homeowner, a "to do" list with a timeline so that the project stayed on course. They have all their projects planned out so carefully that not a minute is wasted. If things don't go exactly as planned, Brandon is the first to call and explain the scheduling or supply issue. Even though I knew that they were managing more than one project simultaneously, I always felt that we were their "number one priority". I suspect that they are such good organizers that every one of their clients feels the same way. This feeling of confidence and security about a contractor is priceless!

Our project actually came in under budget as Brandon always tried to find the most cost effective but acceptable way to do something. He was also very respectful of our budget limitations and suggested reasonable and appropriate alternatives.  I would not hesitate to hire Superior Kitchen & Bath again and I would encourage any homeowner who wants peace of mind, a fair and honest contractor, complete budget transparency and the highest quality work done in their home to definitely consider Brandon and Jane and their crew at Superior (they are a well named company!)

"Overall, it took just a day and a half for them to remove all of the damaged sheetrock and take care of the mold. We even had them re-caulk the tub so we knew it was done properly this time around. Great job, guys!"

Put in vent for kitchen microwave (including purchased for us at cost a new microwave) and vented through the wall and out the roof. 
Fixed leak around skylight on roof w/ elaborate and what appears to be effective solution to a chronic problem we were having 
He even fixed our broken door closer for free. 

Despite apparent successful initial installiton of the microwave vent. It  does not vent to the outside of the house. This was the same problem we had before, it blows back into the house. We have been told it was installed wrong by an inspector and that it needs to be corrected. Conway General Contracting will no longer return our calls or emails that I have sent via Angie's List website."

"The 2 men that were sent to perform the service were friendly and professional.  They were on time and I received a reminder phone call the day before.  However, the wait time for an open appointment was about 3 months. I called in October and they scheduled me for January, but I was in no rush so I scheduled.  I opted to have the additional service of cleaning and tuning up my furnace motor, which seemed to be in rough shape (result of not changing filter often enough), and applying the disinfectant solution and spray since the additional cost for these services seemed fair.  (My ducts were not cleaned for over 10 years and I saw for myself the condition of the motor.)  I in no way felt pressured or like I was getting a "hard sell".
I purchased the $88 deal on Angie's List, which I admit makes the total cost seem like a huge mark up.  However, after subtracting the additional work I had performed, the total cost was in line or a bit lower than other quotes I received or found online for duct and dryer vent cleaning.  I also noted the writing on the deal that stated there would be an additional cost for more than one main line and return (I have 2 main lines and 4 returns), so I was not shocked by the price. I think disclosing an approximate price for these additional parts would satisfy a lot of the complaints I have read.
One problem I had was with the dryer vent cleaning.  After the service was performed, I noticed my clothes were still wet after going through the dryer.  I took the line apart myself and pulled out handfuls of lint.  I called to report this because I was afraid of the fire hazard and just wanted some assurance that the other work was not faulty.  The response I got from the receptionist was not great. I was offered a refund for dryer vent cleaning (~$30) or for someone to come back, but no apology or desire to make sure the other work was done right.  Luckily, the owner was in the office.  He got on the phone and was excellent.  He promised to come by the next day (a Saturday) and check all work.  He arrived as promised, inspected and took pictures of the air ducts and gave the dryer vent a second look (apparently I did not remove all the lint when I took it apart, so he made sure it was done right).  Honestly, he saved this review.  I would use this company again because I know if a mistake is made, they will make it right (despite some of the bumps mentioned).

"I've owned a home in Massachusetts for over 20 years, and I can say with confidence that this is the best contractor experience I have ever had regrading having work done on my house. Robert Milliard Roofing did a fantastic job. They met and/or exceeded all my expectations. The work was done on-time, to-estimate (which was very competitive), and the craftsmanship is excellent. Robert and his crew are very professional, courteous, and take pride in their work. I was especially impressed by how cleanly they keep the job site at the end of each day. When the work was done, Robert's crew completely removed all trash, nails, and debris left from my old roof. They even volunteered to removed some "extra" junk that was left behind by another contractor. During the job, one of our garden ornaments was damaged by a shingle falling from the roof. I had expected some "collateral damage" given how big a job the was so I was not upset. But, when my wife pointed this out to one of the workers, Robert went out of his way to find and purchase an exact replacement. Robert also when the "extra mile" to re-shingle my tool shed and woodshed because, in his works, "it looks better."
If I should ever need additional work done on my roof, there is no other contractor I would call. I highly recommend Robert Milliard Roofing.

"Don is by far the best contractor with whom we have ever worked. We have a history of bad experiences with other contractors over the years in NH, particularly around communication—not showing up when they say that would, not hearing anything for days, not returning calls, and having the final steps drawn out for extended periods. Don, on the other hand, was very calm, reliable (very important for me), competent and accommodating during the stress of living with construction for several weeks while trying also to maintain COVID isolation. Under these conditions, we could not have asked for a better, more organized or competent contractor. He always followed through, kept us informed when issues arose, and was easy to communicate with, as the project extended for several weeks. Don scheduled his time so that he could focus on our project and get it done according to the plan. He worked with us around delays that were not his fault—at one point we had to quarantine when our grandson was exposed, and twice the granite countertops we ordered were broken delaying the final installation. Although these were not Don’s fault, he went out of his way to minimize the delay when the work would be finalized. Don and his crew were quiet, cleaned up after each day, easy to communicate with and competent. Don also accommodated a couple of small, extra projects that emerged as we saw what the new addition would look like. I cannot recommend Handyman911 high enough. We are already planning to have him back for some other work when we return to NH next summer."
