"The process begins with a visit by Kyle who took the time to listen to our plan, survey and take measurements and then come up with a drawing based on a short discussion. He was sensitive to our budget and he quickly made adjustments to meet that budget. I'm not going to go into the whole process from contract agreement to final hand-off but needless to say, every activity from HOA plan approval, scheduling, demolition, delivery/pickup of materials, construction, staining, and change order was clearly communicated to me and handled by either Aaron or Mike. It also helped that I was there to watch the progress and if questions arose, Juan was there to talk to me directly. I was always informed of what was coming next, when, and who would be my contact during those phases. Communication seems to be an important focus of their company. I noticed that this company focuses on the details and quality of their work - I could tell immediately tell by how precise Kyle drew up the deck plan during the sales visit and then later during construction the details of the deck framing, by Juan and his crew, how quality focused this company is - I'll never see the framing again but it was nice to know it was done really well! Finally, when the steps that were built were just not right, Mike took the time and effort, worked with Kyle to quickly re-design a replacement and get that re-built in a very short amount of time. I want to thank Kyle, site managers Aaron, Mike, and builder Juan for all the hard work put into this project. A pool lanai is similar to a pool enclosure, except it is considered an extension of a house. It sits under an existing truss roof rather than a separate shelter. Homeowners often outfit pool lanais with furniture, home décor, and other additions like audio-visual systems. A small lanai costs as little as $1,000 for materials and labor. Most lanais stay under $3,000 on the high end, but intricate layouts or large extensions can cost more in labor and materials.
Pool screens have varying lifespans based on their construction. Fiberglass screens last from 10 to 15 years, aluminum screens last from 15 to 20 years, polyester screens perform reliably for 20 to 30 years, and stainless steel screens offer durability for 30 years or more. Regular inspections and proper installation ensure these screens perform to their full lifespan.
You should regularly clean your pool screens to ensure they are effective and long-lasting. In a bucket, combine warm water with dish soap or cleaning vinegar. Then lightly scrub the screen with a soft-bristle brush or large sponge using your bucket mixture. After scrubbing, you can rinse the screens with a garden hose and let the screens dry in the sun. If you would prefer, you can hire a local window cleaning service to maintain your pool screens.
