"The installation of the door was done well; however, the work area was not adequately protected (no floor protection) and a crowbar was dropped on my new hardwood floor and put a gash in the floor. There was also a communication issue between the sales department and the installers on putting on new break metal around the outside of the door. Yes I would use them again but I would confirm everything with the installers before the start and I would make sure they prep the area to protect the property."

"They installed our sump pump system with backup battering very efficiently and professional and in less than one day. After discussions on the correct equipment, they provided additional effort to be sure the wi-fi backup equipment was installed and was working efficiently. Any questions on installation and operation I had were answered on-the-spot and with ease. System seems great and I now have peace of mind during a bad storm or if the power should go out. I would recommend them to anyone."

"JDS is a fantastic company and a pleasure to work with. Jordan, the owner, came to my house to evaluate the job and provide an estimate. He was very detailed and honest in his assessment. He made various recommendations that substantially improved the setup of the systems, including some that helped reduce costs. A few days before the job was to start, I had to re-schedule due to unrelated reasons. Jordan was able to reshuffle his schedule to be able to accommodate my new timeframe. His crew was always punctual, clean, and respectful of my house. They worked very efficiently and were able to complete the job in under a week. The two windows look great and have substantially improved the feeling of the basement, I would highly recommend JDS to anyone looking into egress windows. Outstanding experience!"

"Overall, the renovation went as planned. There were many areas I knew nothing about and needed a lot of guidance. At the very beginning of the renovation, the removal of the old bathroom and old dressing room was surprisingly quick and effective. Be prepared for the drywall dust! We had not moved in to the house yet so clean up was easy but it goes everywhere. The construction crew cleaned after working but dust escapes no matter what. The carpeting used in the old dressing room was fairly new and the contractors saved it for use in the new closet (a small savings but take them where you can). After that, I had to be guided through each step of choosing the various pieces that needed to go into the new bathroom. The list seemed endless and I wish I had known the full list from the beginning, not as needed. This is my first piece of advice. Get a list of everything that goes into the bathroom. I thought of the big stuff - shower stall, counter top, commode but didn't think of the light fixtures, towel holders, etc. This resulted in some delays because Tomas would call and ask what I wanted and I didn't know because I hadn't thought of that yet. Second, you need to choose the tile and countertop material at the same time - I sort of knew this but didn't do it and had to make a second trip. A bit annoying because, again, it wastes time. Finally, be aware that it will cost more than the estimate. Some of the cost increase was due to construction details that could not be known at the time of the estimate (in adding the plumbing, a 3" pipe should optimally connect to a 3" pipe for the commode to flush properly but then they had to go 3 feet further than planned). Some of the cost increase was due to my changing a detail - we went from not wanting radiant floor heating to getting the radiant floor heating. Tomas showed us the receipts for everything he bought on our behalf and he paid the contractors price for these items. The project was completed 14 working days after the originally set date, partially due to the time I spent picking things out that I didn't know I needed to pick out and partially due to the time it took to get the cabinets."

"My husband and I were very impressed with the service provided by JLI Services, Inc. We have an existing slate walkway, which was stained with mold and had several loose pieces on the walkway and steps. Additionally much of the grout/cement between the slates had broken apart so we had a lot of gaps in the grout. The overall appearance was unsightly, and we were concerned about safety with the loose slates. I called several companies that were highly rated and described the job. Two companies told me that it would be much more cost effective to rip up the walk and two steps and replace with a brand new walkway. Another company sent someone out to do an estimate, and he said that he could do a cosmetic job which would clean the slates and replace the grout but it wouldn't address the loose slates. He sent a quote for that approach and also for putting in a new walkway. JLI Services responded to my call and discussed options; then project manager Guy Reeser came out to inspect the walk. He agreed that we could use the existing slates and save money by cleaning and repairing what we had. Their quote came in at a much better price than the others. They also were able to get the work done a day before Thanksgiving, thanks to a last minute cancellation, so that we could have a "new walkway"  that would be attractive and safe when our guests arrived.
Guy was on hand both days to inspect the progress of his team. The two men, Joel and Blas, that did the work  did a fantastic job of cleaning the slates, removing all grout, checking bonding of each slate and re-cementing those that needed it, building up the level at the end of the walk, and finishing with new grout throughout. At the end, they replaced everything that they had moved and left the site spotless. They were courteous, happy to answer questions, efficient,, and skilled at their work. Guy was on hand at completion of the work to be sure we were happy with the end product and to give us instructions about when we could use the walkway.
I would use JLI Services again and will recommend them to friends.
