"Everything about this company was positive. I waited until after the winter to write this review. After a MN winter, I wanted to make sure the posts stayed in the ground. I had my fence put in late summer 2021. I have two Huskies that need to run. What's positive: Family owned and worked, immediate responses, quote was way less then their competitors, no hidden charges, helped with the lay out(I love it!), made suggestions (wire on the bottom of the fence to help keep my Huskies in), they showed up when they said they would, hard working, completed in the time they alloted, quality materials, great job, fence looks great and the posts didn't move over the winter!"

"Chris was fantastic! He responded to my job post within minutes, came to check out my fence and provided a quote same day. The work he completed made our fence better than the original installation 12 years ago. Very good at what he does. He had to fix the majority of the posts and gate. He took out the unbalanced concrete and poured new. There was ZERO mess left behind. I will be calling Chris for all upcoming projects. Highly recommend."

The professionalism started right at the bid process-explaining the who and what drives their team to excellence, and high quality assurance of work done right, even going the extra mile with our neighbors by repair and adjustments, and add-ons that relieve the neighbors expectations by going the extra mile to insure there experience with a neighbor getting a fence was met with the I do that because it's the right thing to do at no charge! "Horrible communication. Delayed work for months which cost us a lot of money. Brandon and Detailed by Design are not upfront about costs and their ability to complete projects on time. We met with the owner Brandon to address all the issues and finally agreed to a resolution which would have still been a loss to us however he reneged at the last minute and did not pay to replace the old furnace he tried to pass off as new. If you choose to use this business, check all receipts on "new" appliances they say they installed. We reported this business to the Department of Labor because of the shoddy work in installing the furnace and because the furnace was old when we paid for a new furnace. The dept of labor confirmed they were not licensed to install the furnace. We paid for a new furnace ourselves and a licensed contractor to install it. Overall a lot of issues and an absolute nightmare. We are still working on recouping some of our costs from this business."

"I called and asked a question about posts holding up my back deck, as to what needed to be done with them before they were covered up partly with dirt. Troy got back to me within minutes with a text explaining what was needed depending on what kind of posts they were. Then he informed me he was booked up for the rest of 2018. You can bet I'll contact him again if I need to do anything with the deck next year. I was impressed that he got right back to me even if it wasn't going to mean business for him."
