"The designer came out and looked at our space and existing decor, listened to what I thought wanted and showed me options. We selected what we wanted and they ordered it. They contacted me when everything was in and arrived promptly to install the fireplace. The installers were professional, put down clothes everywhere to protect carpet and furniture and were efficient. The city inspector came and then they came back to install the mantel. The supplier had stopped carrying the marble we had ordered and has substituted something else. We told Carter Custom we didn't want limestone but really wanted a light colored marble. They found us another supplier, took out the limestone and went to install the marble. The main floor piece had cracked during shipping. They got us another piece and finally we got it all installed. The installer showed me how to use the remote control and how to manually over ride in case of a power failure. He also went through basic maintenance. I really appreciated all the communication as the supplier problems were sorted out. I always knew exactly what was going on and what the current status was. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional and overall we had a great experience. The price quoted and paid was considerably less than other suppliers for essentially the same product and the people were considerably more helpful. Overall I highly recommend them!"

We had some major projects to do in our yard and initially reached out to multiple companies requesting bids on building a 40 x 10 foot pergola, repairing a cedar fence and staining another major structure in our yard. Inaccurate bids, no shows, and people showing up that presented themselves as home improvement companies but didn’t know what the heck they were doing. The only company that took the time to provide frequent consultation, accurate estimates, multiple visits to our property and consistent follow-up was Twin City Handyman! "Faulty plumbing performed as part of the required renovation resulted in leak into the downstairs ceiling (which was addressed promptly but the ceiling tile was still damaged) and damage to the tub surround during the install had to be repaired with a color match kit (which looks acceptable) but shouldn't have happened. Price was fair and the work was completed on time. Ultimately we are pleased with the final product and are okay with the fixes performed to address the damage done."

"Project of demo old deck and build a new to the same plan did not get started until late November. There were periodic weeks during the winter that did not allow for any work. The company owner/manager(Ivan) kept us informed of the status. The quality of workmanship was very good and followed the city inspection. Project that was over 15K came in at the bid price."

"I have engaged Tyler on multiple projects and in all of them he was prompt, thorough, and professional. for small simple jobs and more extensive jobs like constructing my deck in my backyard. The project was a complicated large deck 30 ft off the ground with track building materials and cable and rail system and the result was awesome.
