Universal Windows Direct was founded in April of 2002 by William Barr and Michael Strmac. It was their mission to create a home improvement company that offers high quality home improvement goods at the best possible value. What began as two guys in a 350 square foot office quickly grew to become one of the nation's leading remodeling companies. Today, Universal Windows Direct represents thousands of customers and has a rapidly growing network of locations nationwide, all of which are actively involved in the communities they serve.

"Simply put, Bob (the owner) and his crew were awesome in every measurable way. They score a 100 points on a 10-point scale as far as we are concerned. To begin with, Bob responded to my voice-message within an hour or so...he visited the project location the next day, and provided his written quote within 2 business days. Bob also maintained communication during the period from my initial call to the morning that the work began. Based on DELL'AQUILA PLASTERING's current workload at the time, a tentative date less than 2 weeks out was agreed upon, subject to us completing other work (wiring, plumbing, etc). Bob maintained excellent communication, and called to confirm the start date and arrival time. Bob and his team arrived at 8:30am as promised. Once the drop-cloths were installed from the entrance to the bathroom by the workers, there was a continuous flow as the work moved right along. The project was completed on time and under the budgeted estimate (WOW!). Cleanup was exceptional, as there was nothing that would indicate that a sheet-rock and plaster project had just been completed. Combine all that I have said above, with the friendliness and professionalism of Bob and his Team, and the timeliness and quality of the work completed, and you have a FIVE-STAR COMPANY ready to complete your project!"

"Really well, really quick, really clean would definitely use them again. Super nice guys.

"This was a complex project involving removal of the ceiling to expose joists, establishing anchors on the joists, drilling through an external wall, and attaching a steel channel iron to the outside wall. With force applied to a long bolt attached to the joists, the external wall was pulled into place and the joists were re-inserted into their slots. The job was a success and the crew was pleasant and cleaned up thoroughly.

"The entire experience was amazing from Beginning to end!!! By far the best price and Earl and one of his workers came and completed the job quickly and perfectly! I will be recommending these painters to everyone!!!"

"These guys were efficient, respectful, and did excellent concrete work. The work was reasonably priced, and I was pleased with the result. I will say that they're a small operation, so their communication was pretty informal. But as long as you don't feel like you need a contractor with flashy brochures and such, these guys will do good work for you."

"Jeff did a stucco repair on 3 areas around my windows and painted them. He communicates well over text. Gave a quote and stuck with it,no up charges. He was polite and courteous. He did great work. I highly recommend him for stucco work and painting!! I will use him again."

"I hired this company for a roofing they arrived early and when they got started but they finished within 12 hours I thought it would take 2 or 2 and a half days."

"I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Not only does our porch look amazing, the quality of the work done is perfect. I've read reviews about other companies leaving a huge mess after they finished the job but I didn't have to deal with that. They really didn't make a mess while they were working and left everything spotless after they were finished. The price was very reasonable but I was still a little skeptical since the company is so new. I'm so glad I took the chance because the owner of the company, Dylan Williams, was not only pleasant to work with but also exceeded my expectations. We are in the middle of remodeling the inside of our home so I will be hiring him again in the near future."
