"EDITED: My project was a driveway type double gate repair/replacement. Jim responded to my request for a quote promptly. We made some adjustments over the phone. The following day he brought the new contract. Work was originally scheduled for 2 days out but he had an opening and was able to start and complete the project the following day. I appreciate that he said he could use the existing hardware, and did so . To me, this displayed integrity; he did not add unnecessary components just to make more money. There was a misunderstanding of the type/grade of wood to be used. A more detailed and comprehensive proposal/contract may have eliminated this. Ultimately, Jim and I did come to an acceptable agreement."

"We had a garage door opener motor that has been on its’ last leg for the last year and sure enough it breaks on the weekend. Called Overhead Door expecting to get a voice recording or 3rd party answering service; however, I actually got a real person who was actually working there at the time named JR. Within an hour, JR had a technician (Alonso) at our door and an hour after that, the garage door operator head and belt drive rail was replaced and working like new. I did not have to pay them until I was absolutely 100% satisfied with the job. I waited a couple of days of opening and closing use, and then happily paid my bill; which was a lot cheaper than I had anticipated for having the work done on a weekend. Needless to say, I will be using Overhead Door for all my future garage door needs."

"I have had Larger Co. do a screen door with design and a side/pool gate going into the backyard.The front screen went so well I did not hesitate to hire them again for the gate.Jeff ,the owner/adjuster,always kept his appointments with me and was always on time.He is a very honest straight talking guy.He will let you know what is best but also allowed me to make my own choices.In their office I dealt with Doris.She is very good at communicating with her customers,and she always returned my phone calls or emails.I had an unforeseen delay concerning my gate and she called me immediately to tell me and re-schedule-that's all I can ask and I appreciated it very much.I have been to their shop in Tucson and it is very clean and a they have a nice showroom so you can see what your door/gate will look like.I have been in their shop and they use top grade materials and will get you a quality finish with high quality paint.The boys in the back are all very nice and do top-notch welding.Just a well run professional company and when you are quoted a price it will be that price.They made ordering,designing and installing a screen and/or gate a very easy process.I am going to have them build me some trellis' for my garden soon.I would not hesitate to call and use The Larger Co. for anything. "I ordered a garage door in May of 2015 submitting half down. Steve, the manager, was both knowledgeable and pleasant, important attributes when making an expensive purchase. He noted that both the garage and the room above it would be much warmer with an R19 door. I had hoped to order a Liftmaster belt system opener, but the manager noted he had difficulty in securing those from his supplier and recommended a Linear. However, Consumer Reports and my husband, a mechanic, both recommended a Liftmaster system because it is quieter and can be connected to your smart phone. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Paul installed the beautiful, new garage door, but there were gaps on both sides of the door where bugs or wind could enter. Paul attempted, but was not successful in installing the new opener because the rail was too long. I was worried about the old Genie system being able to lift the new door, but Paul thought it would be okay. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I called Steve and he very cordially drove over the next day to fill the gaps. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Steve was correct. The garage is much warmer as is the room above it. My purchase was a wise investment that added curb appeal. The window design adds much needed light in the garage when working on projects. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Unfortunately, the old Genie system broke in December. "Adam was great and alleviated a lot of stress I had related to this project. This was a complicated project that Adam orchestrated and simplified. Adam stepped out of his comfort zone of just building a fence for me. He became the contractor to have several tons of a stone wall demolished and legally disposed of. Then he coordinated for very large diameter, tall tree stumps to be ground. Then he built the corrugated fence. Some of his competitors wanted to tear down good fences in other areas of the property or change plumbing to do the demo with skid loaders. That would have added a lot of cost to replace things they wanted to damage to allow access to the skid steers. Adam kept his plan simple, pragmatic and non damaging to any other property. I was so relieved to hear his approach. There was a secondary problem with a small section of chain link fence I wanted repaired. He suggested we replace the chain link with the same corrugated fence as the main section plus add a gate. This actually looked better and added more security. Adam was so good to communicate with. There was one small problem that seemed liked the stumps couldn't be ground. Adam researched alternate solutions and found a way to get the stumps ground. Reminder these were very large stumps and many people told me outright they would not tackle them. I also started Zelle for the first time and it was a joy to use it. There are some limitations because of daily and monthly maximums that I was not aware of. He was very patient and trusting at working with me because of the limits. I was out of state so Zelle really was an easy way for us to handle the down payment and final payment. I almost didn't call him because the Ridpath website had pictures of fancy ironwork on it. I was getting frustrated with other people who were quoting the project so I figured it was worth contacting Ridpath to see if he did simple fences. I was facing hiring three companies (demo, tree grinding and fence). The logistics would have been complicated. I was on a tight schedule since I was traveling from out of state to oversee the project. Adam was very conscientious of my schedule. He actually completed the two week project one day early. I was so blessed that Adam accepted the entire job. He has great integrity and I would definitely recommend him."
