I received another call the next day confirming someone would be out, and the technician called shortly after that to let me know he would be arriving within an hour, which he did. Chad was personable, and started the job right away.  He cleaned the pipes--to make sure they were clear--but he thought the major problem was the old cap he found lodged inside the pipe; this lodged cap prevented the water from draining properly and so the water backed up from our drain into our laundry room.  Chad said the cap was difficult to get out.  We are very grateful he found it as our laundry room flooding situation has been going on for a long time.  We were very pleased with McDonough?s Services, and would definitely hire them again.</p> <br />"

"They inserted their drain reaming device and it went in an unexpected direction.  They explained that this was a drain that had been installed incorrectly, so that it would drain into the master floor drain.  However there was almost no drop between the spare drain and the master drain, so water could not flow.  I didn't know about the existence of the master drain, because it was hidden under the washing machine.   We decided that I should rely on the master drain and not use the spare drain.  They gave me a small discount.  Throughout, they were courteous, professional, and explained things clearly.  This is my second experience with Stoi's and I recommend them highly. <br />"

"<p>After arriving as schedule I explained the issues that were occurring and he assessed the problem which I agreed with since I had already tried what I could with what was available for the general consumer. He uncapped the drain cap, turned the water on until it backed up in the floor drain then shut it off and proceeded with the claw auger on the snake to 100' which unclogged the drain somewhere along the way, he then ran the double sided auger blade that is about the size of the pipe again 100' to insure that it would be clear. We then filled the bathtub half way, basement sink, bathroom sinks and let them all drain at once, we also flushed all toilets mind you all at the same time to insure that the pipe was clear (it better be) and to flush the drain completely.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Needless to say it was clear with no back up with the amount of water that was running down all drains. It was the best $168.00 I has spent in a long time! As a home owner you would understand this when you have been trying to do this yourself for about 2-3 weeks with out success.</p> <br />"
