"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Jason came over because I had a small leak that only dripped when it rained a long time or really hard, and was coming from near the bathroom exhaust vent. He is great at finding the problem and fixing it quickly, so I'm glad I called him. I already knew the leaking water wasn't going through the vent because I could see it drip through the attic when I poked my head up to look during a heavy storm. I wanted to get that fixed right away, and I also wanted to learn more about the condition of the roof. The housing inspector wasn't impressed with it when I was in contract to buy this home, so getting a roofer's advice was just as important to me as getting the leak fixed. He went up on the roof and took pictures, then came back down and showed them to me. He said I had 30 year shingles, which is good, and that the roof was generally ok. He showed me a picture of where the leak was coming from. Basically, he said the flashing and shingles next to the bathroom vent were never done properly. Where the shingle should have butted up against the flashing and have roofing caulk on the boundary, it was about 1" apart and there was no caulk. There was another shingle underneath, but I think is was from the previous roof underneath my current roof from the picture, and from there it was soaking through somehow. Jason said his minimum charge was $250 but that he had some caulk with him and he could fix it right away. I was happy to agree, so he fixed it. It's rained once since then and didn't drip. Hopefully that continues to be the case, but if anything does go wrong I will definitely call Jason again for any repairs that need done."

"This last storm that Nashville experienced with wind, lighting and tornado damage my roof and service mast was struck by lighting damaging my roof. I previously had some repairs done with TCS and was happy with their service so I called them. James Fineman was overwhelmed with work but took time to come to my home on the weekend and estimate my damage and immediately working with my insurance company. They were able to quickly get me scheduled and sent their crew out to replace. Their work crew were hard working and very considerate of clean up and time efficient. My roof looks beautiful and adds value to my home. Thanks to James, and office staff Ms. Beverly, Ms. Barbie and work crew! You are awesome!"

"The owner of this company, Jeremy (Jay), is very friendly and professional. First, he responded very quickly to our request for an estimate, and when we chose his company, they were able to begin within a week or so. He understood the issues that we had in replacing a deck that had prematurely begun deteriorating, and his crew was able to replace about 80% of it while salvaging the parts that were still in good shape. Jay was also happy to fine-tune the minor tweaks that needed to be made after the old deck was demolished and the new one installed. Our project turned out to have more issues than he could anticipate, but he stood by his original price quote. He is trustworthy and provides what he promises. His price was very reasonable, and we believe that we received our money's worth. He also works on roof and window replacements, and we would not hesitate to hire him if we had one of those projects."

FAQs for metal roofing installation and replacement projects in Cottontown, TN

Copper roofs can last 100 years or more, so you’re likely never to need another replacement. Regular maintenance, including annual inspections and occasional cleaning, keeps them in top shape. Work with a licensed roofer for any repairs or inspections to be sure the roof stays watertight and performs as expected.

Cleaning a copper roof averages $460, sealing costs an average of $3 per square foot, and broader repairs cost an average of $6,500.While those figures may seem steep compared to simple maintenance, they’re still far less than the cost of a complete replacement. Staying on top of annual cleanings and quick fixes helps keep costs down and allows the roof to reach its 100-year lifespan.

That green hue is a natural patina that forms as copper reacts with air and moisture. In coastal areas, it can appear in five to seven years; in dry regions, it may take up to 14. The patina shields the copper, so letting it develop is perfectly fine. If you prefer the shiny look, you can have a pro apply a clear sealant and recoat it as needed.

You can paint a copper roof, but it will block the natural patina and may shorten the roof’s lifespan. Once paint goes on, future upkeep becomes more involved—you’ll need to scrape and repaint every few years. Most homeowners skip painting and opt for cleaning or a clear sealant to keep the copper looking its best.

Copper holds up well in nearly every climate. In a humid region, it naturally resists fungus, moss, and algae. In snowy or windy areas, it sheds precipitation and stays firmly in place, as long as it’s installed with room to expand and contract. That flexibility helps the roof stay leak-free through temperature swings and harsh weather year after year.
