"I have used McSwain Floors on three separate occasions. In 2012 they took out my carpet in my Family room and installed random plank with a custom stain color. In 2017 they did the same thing to my hallway and two bedrooms. Now recently they completed a custom design in my Master bedroom, using Brazilian Cherry with oak feature strips, laid in a skirt and picture frame pattern. Absolutely stunning. I will definitely use them again when we remodel our kitchen."

"Very friendly and informative about every step"

"When the technician came out I was advised there would be an additional charge for stripping the floor. I have a polished wood floor. I decided not to use the deal because of the additional charges."

"Work was done within time frame stated. Old carpet that had been there for years taken up and vinyl plank floor installed. All garbage removed. Area was clean when work was done. Had a small issue that I noticed with a threshold after installation was complete but it was fixed and I am very pleased with the way it turned out and the flooring looks great. The communication was very prompt and clear throughout the process."

"Kathy gave me advice on how to proceed which was what I was looking for. Our first conversation was on July 29th and the job was done on August 19. I was hoping to match my existing hardwood. However Kathy was upfront that this is very difficult to do as existing hard wood in my living/dining/kitchen is 15 years old and has aged. Kathy provided a sample that I agreed seemed to blend well. Now that the floors are installed, you can tell that it is different wood in the bedrooms, but I feel like Kathy was upfront about this. The floors in the bedroom are beautiful and the workmanship was excellent. I think once furniture is in and carpet are down the demarcation will be less noticeable."

"Great. Excellent, Excellent job !!! Completely satisfied with entire job and how everything turned out. I absolutely love it and feel like I have a new house. Very professional and knowledgeable and I will use Shulton Painting again for any future projects. I highly recommend this company!!"

"Installers played music very loudly while working and left garage door open to house while working.
Floor looks ok from quick glance but when you look closely as in when cleaning you can find lots of defects in wood patches where nicks and chips were tried to cover up and in one spot even a staple is visible that was tried to cover with wood filler.  They also used LOTS of staples to hold the wood floor down which caused splintering of my subfloor.  It took me 2 hours to clean up
the mess it made in my basement below this room.  I would not call them again

"Jeff May and his crew did a fantastic job, refinishing our extraordinary, old growth, wide-plank, reclaimed hardwood floors. We live in a 3-story townhouse, and each floor has a different type of unique wood. Jeff effectively restored each floor to its original beauty, allowing the distinctive features of the wood in each plank to shine through. Moreover, he used an environmentally friendly, water-based, non-toxic polyurethane sealant that had minimal fumes, and allowed us to stay in the house (with our pets) throughout the process. He even found, and stained to match a new piece of wood to fill in a small space, that had been left bare after some remodeling work in our kitchen. It looks exactly like the reclaimed wood next to it. Amazing! Jeff is an artist; meticulous about detail; conscientious and thorough; and extremely knowledgeable about wood. He and his team were very pleasant to have in our home, and cleaned up after each day's work. Finally, Jeff was far less expensive than any other hardwood floor refinishing company that we interviewed. The entire project, including shoemold installation, was under $1500. Jeff and JM Hardwood Floors have our highest recommendation."

"My message is strictly to women! Moore Than Wood are gentlemen who keep their male workers on track, while 'listening' to the lady, so she gets her beautiful home. They are trustworthy, honest, respectful, eloquent and most importantly; on time. Moore Than Wood are currently on their 4th job for me, as I am a Landlady. When I ask them to 'shoot the moon' I would come in the next day and my request were answered. Financially, their prices are comparable. The only difference is their work is done correctly the first time, so consider it half-price. Any woman is welcome to contact me. Or visit my homes to see Moore Than Wood flawless workmanship."
