"Patio Enclosures was fantastic, the subcontractors that came to do the job were not. However, Patio Enclosures sent two Field Supervisors over to spend and entire day addressing all of our concerns. Overall, their customer service is what made us happy with this project and we absolutely love our 3-season room!"

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

"It was a good meeting and I learned a lot. The contractor is very thoughtful and provides lots of alternatives, ideas and adjustments. I appreciated seeing the quality of materials provided, and I know he is qualified to do excellent work, from past experience. However, my project is on hold for now, as the cost is more than I anticipated or am able to afford at this time. I appreciated their willingness to work with me, even though it might be a future project. Chuck and his staff are great to work with."

"Perfect.  The downspout was much much higher quality than anything from Home Depot or Menards.    The prepainted surface did not chip or scrape and matched our house color.  Thicker steel than anything from a home improvement store sells will hold up.  Many many more colors to choose from.  Fit like a glove. <br />"

"They arrived with 3 men on time and ready to work. Most of the items removed had to be hauled up from our basement. Lots and lots of repetitive up/down the stairs. These guys worked at an amazing pace and all the while were pleasant and extremely respectful. If they came across an item that they thought was valuable and we may not wish to discard, they brought the item to us and asked (even a checque from Christmas that hadn't been cashed). We were so impressed with the amount of work they got done for the price that we asked them to return the following day to remove more items. We've recommended them heartily to anyone and everyone who might have the slightest interest in this type of service. It is comforting to know that most items are donated or recycled, and not everything was going to the dump. Highly recommend! <br />"

"It was a fantastic experience. Scott is very helpful and professional. He had great ideas on how to rearrange the kitchen to make it more workable, and showed us a 3D computer model of how it would look. He worked with us to incorporate features we wanted, and we were pleasantly surprised that his estimate was below other contractors' bids. Furthermore, the final bid didn't change. 3 Day Kitchen and Bath provided lodging at the Residence Inn, for our family of 7, and it was a lovely mini-vacation. When the work was finished on Friday, they had a cleaning lady come in to do a thorough cleaning including wiping down the newly painted walls. We would definitely hire 3 Day Kitchen and Bath if we decide to update our bathrooms <br />"

"Very pleased with the quality of the work.  Jason was very polite and professional, and he was able to get the work done quite quickly. He did a good job of staying in contact with me. I am really impressed with how nice the new shower looks!"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Council Bluffs, IA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
