"While the tree I had removed was successfully taken down and grinded for $500.00, Sergio did NOT state that a 15 dollar credit card fee would be added to the Invoice. My wife, who had a great working experience with Discount Tree before, is battling cancer and did not want to argue with the additional fee. I'm putting my review as a warning to those looking to hire Discount; ask questions, and put the writing. 50 dollars could have went to my wife's medication this week. Very cold how they advantage of my wife."

"My giant palms were due for trimming.  One of them actually needed to be removed because it was pushing against the wrought iron fence.   I contacted 3-4 tree service companies to come out for estimates.  One of them didn't show up.  Of the three that did, i picked Bottoms Up because they were the most prompt in emailing me an estimate.  Not only did they gave me an estimate for my palms,  they walked through my property and provided estimates on other trees that needed to be worked on.  I corresponded with the owner, Gwyneth, the entire time and she was absolutely professional and knowledgeable.    On job day, the crew showed up on time, everyone was courteous and professional.  Gwyneth came out to inspect the job and helped out as needed.   The job was done properly and surrounding area was cleaned.  Will definitely us them again in the future.

"Nick was great, very personable. However, he wanted to charge us a fee to draw anything up before the work began. I understand the point of a design fee, and know that it's not uncommon. But we were only wanting a sketch as we talked about it, and instead, he wanted something like $350 with only a small portion of that going to the overall price. We discussed how we'd use the Angie's List deal (if I'm not mistaken, it was $2800 work of work for $1499 including 15 plants, succulents costing more, and a line of water to be laid down - the deal is now gone). I provided 9 plants, pavers and a tree myself. I'll also state - he asked me to pay a portion up front, and the remainder at the conclusion of the job, instead of going through Angie's List for payment. The guys worked quickly, and were polite and friendly. They finished in 2 days. A week later, one of the valves busted on the sprinkler system, and our backyard flooded a bit. Their guy came out the following day and replaced the defective part, and dug up our drain. That was 2 weeks ago, and the yard is still a bit muddy - not their fault, obviously. But I wanted to provide photos of the work. It's beautiful, they did a great job. We have a decomposed granite path from the side of the house to the back door, and all the rest of the area is mulch and several plants. My issue is that the invoice I received is very "general". See photo. I requested via text message a more in depth invoice after the fact, and was told by Nick that "that would be it." I see no evidence that I got the Angie's List deal, nor any credit whatsoever for the plants I provided instead of using his. Looking back, had I purchased the package through the website itself, perhaps he'd have a better accounting of the various aspects of the job. We have one of four sections of the backyard now complete, and to be honest, I don't believe we'll be using this company again. It's a huge yard, and a very costly endeavor. We just want to know where our money goes/went."

The service was excellent in every way! First, they were unavoidably delayed on the appointment time and made every effort to keep me posted on their adjusted ETA. Once they arrived, they assessed the situation and advised the most non-invasive treatment for my home, and for the bees. They came up with a creative and very intelligent solution to the problem that is do-able and inexpensive. They are professional, knowledgeable, respectful of the homeowner and of the environment. I would recommend them to anyone who has bees in their home or garden that need relocation and/or humane treatment.

The cleaners removed the window screen but while cleaning them, they destroyed my windows screen.

I have very high windows and the cleaners left behind water marks all over, did not look very good.
