"I had a bad smell coming out of my shower drain.  Two guys (one in training) came to look at it.  Seems I just had some hair blocking the drain.  They used my tool (a dryer vent brush) and cleaned out the hair.  Took about 5 minutes.  He put bleach down the drain afterwards at my request.  That was it.  Cost $128.  I learned a lesson.  Use a dryer vent brush (about $10) and do it yourself to save the money.  The fella's were nice and informative, but I sure wish I could have got a better rate since the job was so simple and short. "

"First off, appointment for plumbing work was scheduled and then related craftsmen were scheduled accordingly-drywall, flooring, etc. On the morning of our scheduled plumbing appointment, Air Assurance was a no-show at scheduled time. After allowing sufficient time for car trouble, unexpected events, etc, I called the office to inquire as to what the delay was. After numerous back and forth calls, I was told that the appointment would be cancelled because it had been mis-scheduled as a one hour repair rather than an 8 hour remodel. Chris, the supervisor of the plumbing division made no effort to reschedule for the following day, stating it "just wasn't possible", even though I had scheduled correctly and had done so more than a week in advance. He did not care that all of the other craftsmen would now need to be rescheduled, as well as hotel reservations extended due to not having a usable bathroom. We had completely gutted the bathroom in order to make installation day go smoothly and quickly. Chris promised to discount the work and also promised to be at the worksite the following week to supervise the work. Neither promise was kept. Additionally, because of the original no-show of the workers, I kept track of the times each separate worker arrived, the time they left for lunch and their return. This resulted in a total time of 6 hours on site- but did not count the numerous breaks to go make personal phone calls to one worker's doctor and other time-consuming/non-job related tasks. Imagine my surprise when I was presented with a $1000+ bill, which I promptly refused to pay. I finally ended up with a laughable discount making my bill $960, with the caveat that Chris, the supervisor, would call me and discuss this charge. It has now been one month and I still have not heard from Chris. Our bathroom was left a stinking mess because the workers had used the (turned off) toilet all day and did not flush after turning the water back on; our tub enclosure is uneven with the sides almost .75inches higher than the back wall; and we had to pay an extra $400 to a handyman to repair and replace the damage done when installing the enclosure. While the two workers were very nice, I would not recommend them for anything but basic plumbing repairs-certainly not remodels and absolutely not enclosures. And get upfront pricing and verified amount of time scheduled for repair."

"They came same day as called. I told girl who answered their phone I got them thru Angie's List. Bill for inspect and new pump was $715.00. Did not include Angie's List discount and their website shows free inspections and they charged $95 service call. Sent them email asking about bill and never heard back. Similar pump on internet sells for $350 - $555 installed from Harlan."
