"Steve and his coworker scheduled my project for Friday morning, June 17. They announced that they were on their way and arrived, as scheduled. They immediately went to work and did phase I (remove Pergo and lay ceramic tile) in no time. It was done all so quickly, a testament to how these 2 folks work well together with Steve measuring and his coworker cutting the tiles, to perfection. Steve told me he would return the next morning for Phase II, grouting and toilet replacement. He arrived right on time the next day and again went right to work. Again, he was done in no time. Steve cleaned up after himself, and I had to do absolutely nothing. His work was excellent and we are very happy with the final project. My only suggestion to Steve and his crew would be to wear a mask, at least when doing the initial meeting of the customer, in these days of COVID. When he was working in the powder room there was more than ample distance between us. Just a suggestion. Again, we are extremely happy with the job done and I would recommend Pete Anderson (and Steve) to everyone."

"I have nothing bad to say about my experience with Chris Gavin Painting. Chris came by my house one Wednesday evening, provided a written estimate, and started the job when he said he would. <br /> I found Chris to be friendly, efficient, and most importantly to me, he cleaned up after himself at the end of each day. <br />"

"We are extremely pleased. Everything was completed for use in 3 days. <br /> This was a job where Coleman and Owen Construction Inc. corrected a whirlpool tub installation that another contractor "botched-up" a few years ago. <br /> <br /> As seen in the attached pictures, the tub's tiles and stand-up shower's tiles are all tied together so when reinstalling the tub, Tom Owen and his crew (Casey and Bill) had to construct the tub's frame to an exact height that when the backer board, thinset, and tile are installed on the supporting frame, they meet up with exact height of the back wall of the shower, which they did perfectly. (Note: When the previous contractor installed the tub, the edges of the tub were not supported preventing a permanent seal around the tub's edges. Basically the tub was previously set on the floor and the ceramic tile was installed to the top edge of the tub vice installing the tile on a supporting frame and the edges of the tub set on the tile and supporting frame.) <br /> Notice in the attached picures that the faucets were moved to a more convenient location in the front corner of the tub; perfect! Also, to access the motor, electrical, and plumbing, the left half of the tiled tub side (side beneath the faucets) is removable since a wall or closet opposite the plumbing is not available. The grout around the left half is a "sanded" siliconized acrylic caulk which matches the grout's color and texture. Works and looks great! <br /> These guys work hard, are clean, considerate, and professional. Throughout I was provided a status of what they planned on accomplishing each day, what was accomplished, and the plans for the next day. And as for the qualify of work; the Jacuzzi sides are properly supported and secure and the tile work looks great; level, even, and clean grout lines. I can now continue with our remodeling work in this bathroom finishing the ceilings, walls, and trimming out the window. <br /> This was our first time having work performed by Coleman and Owen Construction and based on how happy we are with the way the installation of the Jacuzzi went, we plan on having Tom and his crew back to perform other projects on our house. He is currently working an estimate on another project which creates ample storage space under our stairs. <br />"

"We purchased a new home that we wanted painted inside and out before move-in. Our first choice of provider who we had previous experience with was not available on the timeline I preferred so I went to Angies List and messaged several providers. Tim Lee was the first to respond (within minutes) and contacted me that evening to set up a time to come give estimate and let me know they could start the following week and be complete before our move in date. He used Sherwin Williams paint which was our preference and had a paint swatch stack on hand so we could select exact paint colors during the estimate visit which was helpful and saved us going to Sherwin Williams and grabbing several cards and taking them back to the house to contemplate/decide. He was very thorough and professional in estimate and provided us several options to see what best met our budget. He was EXTREMELY prompt in response and communication helping get our project started. He estimated 7 work days to complete and actually was able to start ahead of schedule by 1 day and complete project in 4 days. There was a communication issue with team as they had communicated completion prior to actual completion but that was quickly resolved. All in all we were very pleased. We dropped in to check progress every day and team was very courteous. I will say it was a little more cluttered with personal items scattered outside and in during the work but they did clean up everything when complete. A few splatters were found after completion but minimal considering 2 stories 2499 sq feet completed and nothing we couldn't touch up on our own and had we had them do ceilings/doors it would have resolved itself but we chose to limit to walls and baseboards and exterior for personal budget reasons. If you need a quality job completed in a short amount of time, this group worked days/nights/weekends until completed. I would recommend them!"
