"Came out to get rid of a squirrel. He did apparently remove a squirrel, but not the one we called about because it was stuck too far down. We were told our chimney was too rusted to use, and a temporary cap was placed on the chimney. According to a second opinion our chimney is in working order, and we had the cap replaced with a working one. I'm not sure what that was about but I do really appreciate the promptness with which Chimney keeper was willing to come out and handle our squirrel problem. Not exactly worth $300 though."

The workers were very efficient and took pictures of the chimney before and after they fixed it so I could see what the damage was and what was done to correct the damage.  I also looked inside the chimney to see where it had been repaired. The gentleman in charge had me come outside to see where the outside part of the  chimney had been resealed with new mortar. There were quite a few places from top to bottom. It was easy to see because the new mortar was light, but later dried to the same color as the rest of the mortar. I saw the damage on the chimney before they started and after the work was completed. The after pictures were sent to my computer so I could keep a record of the work. All this was done before they left and I was able to set up a file with the pictures and details of their work.<br /> </strong> <br />"

"Everything was great at the beginning. We waited for our call that we would be scheduled and then things started not going as planned. The got the roof off and found the chimney needed to be replaced, so we got an estimate on that and a chimney guy was scheduled. Then the roof work stopped. My complaint here was we were not communicated with about when the roofers would be back to restart. I had to call a couple of times about the chimney guy and roofer. When they finally finished they were supposed to clean up the yard, run the magnet for nails and that was done poorly. The first day they were gone we found nails in the driveway, nails and trash in the yard and roof debris in the yard. I also noticed our gutter seals had been cracked from their ladders. We ended up meeting with the projects manager twice and they came out to clean up and fix gutters 3 times (on one of the trips the broke one of the spouts of the gutter off). I am still cleaning up the yard but after three trips I didn’t want them back out. This is not just one persons fault their. Lake of communication was a big issue with many people. Also be ware that if you pay with a credit card you will have to pay their square fee, I was not made aware of this until I went to pay even though they said it was on the email with the bill, which it was not and I had to forward them the email to prove it. I will not recommend them or use them again."
