"If you need any Stucco work done, this is the company to do the job. Sergio was professional and a pleasure to work with throughout the experience from initial estimate through the completion of the job. This was a difficult job, and the result was incredible, and the cost more than fair. Sergio is one of the most ethical contractors I have ever had the pleasure to work with."

"I recently hired CAS construction to apply traditional stucco to my home, and I couldn?t be happier with the results. From start to finish, their team was professional, reliable, and clearly experienced in their craft. They took the time to explain the entire process, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with each step. The crew arrived on time every day, kept the worksite clean, and worked efficiently without cutting corners. The quality of the stucco work is excellent smooth, even, and exactly the look I was hoping for. You can tell they pay close attention to detail and truly care about their workmanship. Several neighbors have already complimented the finished look! I highly recommend CAS construction to anyone looking for quality traditional stucco work done right. They exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn?t hesitate to hire them again."

"The work was left not complete. The deck boards were removed and replaced perfect . The rails where left shaking. The stairs were left without handrails and the top step is uneven with the deck floor by at least 1.5 inches . Some parts needs sanding would help looks and make safer ."

"Excellent quality of work and pleasant to work with. I had drywall installed, mudded, and painted in two rooms in an older house which had its own peculiar challenges. I mentioned concerns about drywall mud on the wood floors and drywall dust getting on my things (I had to move things between these rooms during the project), but no precautions were taken by the professional. In the end, I realized that drywall mud drops were on the wood floors, and more annoyingly there was quite a lot of dust covering some of my things. The only negative part of this review is because I mentioned it early on and it could have been easily prevented by using a tarp or taping a temporary plastic barrier in the doorway while sanding the drywall mud to contain the dust. Overall, while the messiness management was a bit lacking, the work quality was great, and I would hire them again."

"<p>I had bought an Angie's deal from Handy Helpers, paying $99 for the work of 1 person for 4 hours or the work of 2 people for 2 hours. The owner, Jonathan Katz, had worked with me in trying to get a date when the weather would cooperate for the work and he was flexible in working with me around my work schedule and other obligations. He came out about 1 week before the work was done and I showed him what I needed done. He made recommendations as to material. He was the one who actually noticed that there was a corner of the patio where the soil had been washed away and was probably the cause of slight sinking of the patio where it meets the house foundation. He recommended a fix for that, which I agreed to. He advised me as to the type of caulking I needed and said he would get the concrete for the repair of the foundation since he knew what product would work best. Jonathan and Chris showed up at the appointment time on the day of the work. Jonathan said that Chris would install the French drain while he took care of another small job elsewhere. Chris did a super job with the drain and hooked the downspout into the new drain so I wouldn't have drainage hose running on top of the group. I found out that Chris had only worked for Jonathan for 4 days but that he had done landscape work when living in Florida. Chris tested the drain, put the landscape fabric back down, and raked the rocks back onto the fabric. He did an excellent job of cleaning up. As a bonus, Jonathan brought a hosta that looked like it had been separated from a larger hosta and Chris planted it at the corner of the patio and house to absorb any water in the area. It seemed that Jonathan's job took longer because Chris finished before Jonathan returned so I think there was some downtime. Jonathan caulked around the joints between the brick and siding while Chris removed the old caulk around the patio door and replaced it. Chris also caulked the joints between the concrete around the house and the foundation. Chris also patched the cracks in my foundation, which was very time intensive. The foundation looks so much better and I think is in better condition because Chris did such an outstanding job filling in the cracks. Chris started work at 9:00AM and finished around 7:00PM. He took a short lunch break and a few breaks while working but worked steadily. He did a nice job of cleaning up .</p> <p>I would hire Jonathan and Chris again for their workmanship. The only criticism I have of Handy Helpers is their business side of the business. I didn't receive a detailed proposal of the work from Jonathan (I'm partly to blame for not insisting on one) but we did go through the details of the work to be done verbally. Next time, I will insist on a written proposal. I knew that the work was going to exceed the $99 deal I had already paid for. Jonathan provided me an email of the amount over the $99 I owed but I really couldn't match it to a proposal. Like I said, my bad for not insisting on a written proposal. I did a few calculations and determined that the additional amount over the $99 was reasonable, especially since I had observed how hard Chris worked to do a good job.</p> <p>I think Jonathan and Chris are both talented workmen. Hopefully, Jonathan will perfect the business side so that people have a written proposal to compare with actual costs because I think he does a good job.</p> <br />"
