"CCE was amazing!! My grandmother is 85 years old and had zero idea about asbestos and what it can cause health wise. Justin and Zack explained there process and was extremely assuring. Overall they finished the project one day earlier then discussed with great quality. I highly recommend this company."

"This was the 3rd time I’ve used Axium (specifically Tim Krapfl) for home inspection. Tim is very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional! I highly recommend. Tim did the home inspection, but the services also included sewer scope and radon testing."

"The company was very professional. Asbestos Professional showed up on schedule and under budget. During my kitchen and bathroom remodel, the schedule had to be changed several times due to our schedule. Asbestos was able to accommodate the changing schedule. The clean-up was perfection. We passed air quality tests in fly colors. Personnel communicated every step of the way. I would definitely use them again."

"So far, it looks like Triple C did a good job. They were very friendly, professional, and thorough taking approximately 2 1/2 hours to process 11 registers and 2 returns explaining what they were doing as they progressed. Since my clothes dryer was only 2 years old, it was not necessary to clean it. I would hire them again."

"We had recently purchased a house and were looking to ultimately re-do the basement. Given the age of the house (built in 1912), we knew there would be asbestos SOMEWHERE in the house and testing showed that a good portion of the basement tile (which had just been carpeted over) was asbestos. We bid the project out to three different providers and got estimates all over the place - from about $2000 to upwards of $10,000. At first, we were a little hesitant to go with the lower-cost option because asbestos removal is nothing to skimp on. However, after talking with John about their process and the precautions they take, we felt comfortable going with them. Once we were scheduled, everything went very smoothly: they were on time, professional, thorough, and completed the job in the time allotted (even finishing a little earlier than we expected). John came to get them set up, and then left the work to two guys. We selected an independent company to do an air clearance test and Eco Tech coordinated the visit once they were done with the work. In addition to passing them, the testing company said that they had never worked with Eco Tech before and were very impressed with the removal job. Overall, we had a great experience with Eco Tech and would definitely recommend them."

"CHE was recommended by my insurance company for the work provided. Large job of removing asbestos floor tiles and remediation of mold due to the ball being dropped by both my insurance company and restoration company hired by my insurance company. The estimate given my insurance company and amount invoiced were exact to the penny. The job was larger than originally estimated, and they were very busy, however I feel there could and should have been better communication with the homeowners . A 3 day job took a full week, which was no problem at all, but would have liked to have been better informed about exactly what was being done and when. Workers showed up on time as scheduled, but unfortunately, we were never quite sure when they were scheduled. That said, the basement in our 50+ year old home looks almost like new. The crew working was VERY courteous and left the place very clean and tidy when the work was finally finished. Quality of work was an A+, the only thing bringing down the total grade was the communication. Nobody likes a knock on the door early on a Sunday morning with no warning. We could have made arrangements to be out of their way had we only known they were coming to work on Sunday. The crew on site were more than understanding about these issues and were completely professional. A+ to the crew doing the job. <br>"

FAQs for asbestos abatement projects in Cripple Creek, CO

Asbestos is a group of six naturally occurring mineral fibers once commonly used in building materials because of their resistance to heat, electricity, and corrosion. However, in 1975, research confirmed that these fibers cause mesothelioma and other cancers, leading to strict usage laws. If your home contains asbestos, removing it can prevent long-term health effects. You'll often find asbestos in the flooring, ceilings, pipes, and roofing of homes built before the 1990s. Common asbestos-containing materials include vermiculite insulation, vinyl flooring, millboard, and corrugated roofing. If you suspect you have asbestos or any of these materials in your home, it's important to hire a reputable abatement company to perform testing.

Currently, there is no federal licensing mandate for asbestos removal contractors. However, certain cities and states require certification and specialized training. For example, in some areas, contractors handling asbestos must receive an Asbestos Handler Certification. Be sure to check your local laws to ensure any contractor you hire meets the necessary requirements.

Homes constructed before the 1990s can conceal asbestos within building materials, and testing provides a definitive answer. You should have your home tested by a certified asbestos inspection service. This professional evaluation identifies hazardous materials and determines whether removal or encapsulation is necessary. Testing safeguards your family’s health and supports smart budgeting for remediation.

Federal law does not require you to disclose the presence of asbestos when selling your home. However, certain states and local jurisdictions impose disclosure regulations that you must follow. Testing and professional remediation confirm that hazardous materials are properly managed. This proactive approach not only meets legal requirements but also protects your property’s value and buyer health.

Asbestos removal affects a home’s resale value because hazardous materials can deter potential buyers. Having toxic substances present lowers buyer confidence and may reduce the property’s value by 1% to 15% if not addressed. Professional remediation ensures safety standards are met and preserves marketability, protecting your long-term investment.

Grants exist at both federal and state levels to support asbestos testing and removal projects. Local housing programs may also offer financial assistance when asbestos is discovered during home repairs. Meeting certification and testing standards is required to secure these funds, which help to manage overall project costs while ensuring safe remediation.
