"Tim was great. He explained everything he did and how to care better for our appliance, which products to use for washing and how to clean the dishwasher. He recommended products that would not leave residue all over the machine and instructed us on how to remove remaining residue without replacing those parts. He only replaced what needed replacement. I liked it that the phone scheduler was able to order the part I needed before the service call so it could all be done in one visit. Tim even took a quick look at a washing machine problem and recommended a home remedy. The replacement dispenser part was overpriced at $100 and $89 for the service call, did not include the $45 time charge so that's a shame. It's like it's $89 just to pull up at the house..... but that's the way it seems to go with all large appliance repair so I don't blame Main Appliance"

"I have an ancient Avocado green washing machine that is probably over 30 years old. The timing belt broke, and the washing machine was no longer progressing through cycles. If accidentally left on the rinse cycle, it would have pumped water faster than the stationary tub could drain it and flood the basement. <br /> I called a few other appliance repair shops but they all said that the washer was too old to fix, or that the parts were no longer available. <br /> I'm not sure how Appliance Service Unlimited found the parts, but within a week or so they were able to get the needed parts to repair the washing machine's timer and get the cycles working again. Three months later the old washer is working like a champ and I have had no issues. I hope to get another three decades of use out of the green machine. They also accept credit cards, which was nice since I did not exactly plan on this repair expense. <br /> Highly recommended! <br />"
