"It was time for me to replace the laminate countertops in my kitchen. I had heard that a Nashville (TN) company had opened a branch operation here in Crossville and my wife and I went to discuss our project with their staff. We learned that at this time they specialize in natural granite stone work as opposed to the various man made products. This was fine with us as granite was our choice based on considerable research. The Granite Gallery was especially interesting to us as they have on site a vast array of granite slabs quarried from around the world. We weren't limited to samples measured in inches and it made all the difference. The company offers products that vary in price depending primarily on the pattern in the stone. We agreed upon a slab and its price. The staff was quite helpful in that they answered any questions that arose regarding the product and the installation procedure. After our meeting on a Wednesday, we were told they would begin the project at our home the following Monday. As promised they arrived Monday morning and removed the old laminate countertops and made the template necessary to create the various stone sections required. They returned on Thursday (a day earlier than promised) because we needed some extra time to have a plumber hook up the new sink that we had purchased from the Granite Gallery. The installation team arrived at 1 pm and by 5 pm had completed the installation. The entire job was handled efficiently and professionally in all respects. The results exceeded our expectations."

"The quality of the solid and Engineered wood is very high. Compared to previous product I experienced from other suppliers their finish is harder and less chances of being scratched. Each box of the Solid wood always has two 7' long planks. This give you enough long planks to be used in special situation like establishing the reference start line while installing. Mill work is good, so installation went smoothly. The problem I don't like is that they charged me two different shipments because the solid and the Engineered wood comes from different parts in the US."

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."

"Same as above- <br /> We really liked the people there, and enjoyed going through the slabs. The company was very patient with us as we took up a lot of their time. We only chose another company to do our work because I didn't like having the countertop's seam located at the middle of the sink, which, from our conversations with them, was the only option. If that's not an issue for you, I would recommend them just for their helpful nature and willingness to spend time with someone who they don't know will hire them. (I can't speak for their actual installation work.)"

"<p>Communication throughout the process was great. I like that I dealt with Randy, the owner the entire time. If I had any questions I could text him directly or email. He came out and measured my countertops and got a quote back to me quickly. He answered all my questions and communicated all changes. One thing that came up was the L shape in my counter where one end is very large and bulky and the other is narrow for the kitchen sink. They had to put a seam in to avoid having it break during installation and transit. I was a bit worried but I understood the issue. I didn't need to worry as 1st Class Countertops made sure to match the granite pattern at the seem, made the seem flat and narrow and placed it where it would be harder to see. You can't see the seam unless you're looking for it. </p> <p>As with anything in a home, there were issues that came up with how the builder installed my cabinets. The wall for the counter cantilever was actually too short. 1st Class Countertops took there time to resolve all the issues to make sure the countertops were installed solidly and so I wouldn't have issues later. They put in all the reinforcements I needed to ensure it would last. They hauled away all my old countertops and cleaned up when they were done. Randy and Alex did a great job and I couldn't be happier.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

In the end, we decided not to repair the countertop and sink but replace it entirely. as the previous owner installed it and it no longer fit our decor. Even though we didn't use them to make the repairs, we were very impressed with their customer service."
