"Randy came out and took a look at the project. He expressed concerns about drainage and water run off and stated he wasn't sure he'd be able to do the job with asphalt (vs concrete). He told me he would come back out at another time and look at elevations and such and then give me an estimate. That was a week ago and I've not heard anything since. I accepted a bid from another company in the meantime.

Unfortunately our weather took a turn towards cool and wet, which isn't very conducive to performing asphalt coating so it took a few days longer than originally planned to get them here, but in the end it was worth it. The 2 guys were polite and courteous. They finished in about an hour or so and explained about how long to wait before walking and parking on the drive. Overall, I would use their services again when the time comes to have the drive re-coated.

Their sales associate (Al Lien) was knowledgeable and helpful, but no pressure, which I personally appreciate very much. They had a range of options, and in the end we chose to use HardiPlank which was less expensive than LP at the time of our project. The Hoffman Weber price was very competitive (and significantly lower than the high-pressure company that came out). The installation went well--the crew was hard working and pleasant, and communication with the project manager (Pete) was easy (the installation was done in February, so, weather affected the days of installation).
