Moreover, they replaced the sod that was damaged around the outside of the patio during the construction with some of the old sod they saved. Our patio looks beautiful. "Linda Rominsky Bye BEFORE our Roof was replaced by City Light Construction.Their site manager came and put tarps where it was leaking. He also came and walked the roof with our adjuster. City Light took it from there. Put in their estimate, and it was approved by our USAA insurance. Within days the money for the roof was in our account. City Light took every care to lay tarps and collect the old roof, and cleared all debris. They even took large magnets to scan for dropped nails. They sat and explained the materials they use, which are of the finest quality. The work was done in one day, over the house, and most of our shed. By noon the second day the crew had completed the install. They even painted the furnace stack on the roof black to match the roof. We were impressed with their attention to detail, and everything was done to county construction standards. We are thrilled with our new roof and City Light Construction. We plan to use them for sealing our stamped concrete patio."

There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"
