"All Craft replaced three windows in the living room of my 150-year-old house -- one of the oldest houses in Rochester. I could not be more pleased! I was afraid to replace windows for fear of destroying the look of the house, but the windows they installed are perfect! They are at least a thousand percent more efficient than the old ones, but blend into the existing look perfectly -- the house looks even better than it did before! The whole experience with All Craft from the first phone call asking for an estimate to the finished product has been a delight!"
BEFORE- A beauty looking a bit past it's prime with leaking windows and peeling paint.

BEFORE: Peeling paint, water damage to the walls and foundation, and leaky windows were causing this house to show her age.

"I contacted Kent K @ priority inquiring a quote on my roof/shingles. He was very prompt to return my call and schedule on my appointment. Kent is very knowledgeable of the products and excellent at explaining how the insurance companies worked with him and the company. The crew that did the work was very professional and did a great job! I would definitely use/recommend priority to any one heading construction or shingle work done. All the way great company!"

"Absolute Pros (and part artist to boot) as they were tasked with removing 120 year old windows; managing to keep them all still in tact, and replaced them with very high quality new windows that looked like they had always belonged there. When they were done, you wouldn't know they were ever there because the house (inside and out) was immaculate. They even threw in an added bonus of removing an old T.V. antenna (complete eye sore) while on the roof anyway, and disposed of a rabbit (they offered) that a neighborhood cat had decided to leave on my lawn that morning as breakfast leftovers. Already talking about 2 other projects as I can't think of anyone I'd trust more. Thank you again."

FAQs for metal roofing installation and replacement projects in Dakota, MN

Copper roofs can last 100 years or more, so you’re likely never to need another replacement. Regular maintenance, including annual inspections and occasional cleaning, keeps them in top shape. Work with a licensed roofer for any repairs or inspections to be sure the roof stays watertight and performs as expected.

Cleaning a copper roof averages $460, sealing costs an average of $3 per square foot, and broader repairs cost an average of $6,500.While those figures may seem steep compared to simple maintenance, they’re still far less than the cost of a complete replacement. Staying on top of annual cleanings and quick fixes helps keep costs down and allows the roof to reach its 100-year lifespan.

That green hue is a natural patina that forms as copper reacts with air and moisture. In coastal areas, it can appear in five to seven years; in dry regions, it may take up to 14. The patina shields the copper, so letting it develop is perfectly fine. If you prefer the shiny look, you can have a pro apply a clear sealant and recoat it as needed.

You can paint a copper roof, but it will block the natural patina and may shorten the roof’s lifespan. Once paint goes on, future upkeep becomes more involved—you’ll need to scrape and repaint every few years. Most homeowners skip painting and opt for cleaning or a clear sealant to keep the copper looking its best.

Copper holds up well in nearly every climate. In a humid region, it naturally resists fungus, moss, and algae. In snowy or windy areas, it sheds precipitation and stays firmly in place, as long as it’s installed with room to expand and contract. That flexibility helps the roof stay leak-free through temperature swings and harsh weather year after year.
