"I needed a wooden fence repaired on short notice. Edin responded to my Angi's List posting, looked at the fence and 2 gates to repair, then gave me a good estimate on the work. Initially I thought the estimate to be a little high however, looking at the detail he offered, the estimate was reasonable. Edin adjusted his other projects to take care of the fence as the timing was critical. When completed, he replaced one section of fence, re-set another post that was moved over the years by the yard (he re-set the post in cement) and connected the loose sections to the post correctly, repaired two gates that needed cross-boards replaced plus re-set the posts for the gates, and replaced hinges and latches on 3 gates. All of this was done in one day and turned out exceptionally well. I wish I had engaged him last year! Holy Land Landscaping is top-notch. They cleaned up the yard when finished and truly did a very professional job. Thank you Edin and team!! (and by the way, the price was quite reasonable for the work and quality provided). Edin and his team are wonderful to work with!"

"The Job: We had JP Co. of Centreville knock out and replace our old, deteriorated and very long concrete driveway (762 square feet). Same with the carport area (72 feet by 10 feet). They also poured concrete to replace the old pavers that served as the sidewalk (about 25 feet long by 3 feet wide) that runs from the driveway to our front porch. They also replaced a deteriorated brick retaining wall that ran along the carport area, which was about 27 feet long by 25 inches high. We went with a timber retaining wall, which was a little less expensive than a concrete wall would have been, and was way cheaper than bricks or stones. We think the wood wall looks a little "friendlier" than concrete would have (but it will probably not last as long as concrete). The work: JP did an excellent job in all respects. They completed the entire project in two days, and it all came out very nicely. They also cleaned up, leaving no trace of a mess behind. We got three bids for the job, which were all fairly close, but JP was the lowest. And I was impressed with their customer reviews on Checkbook. Our contact was Paulo Nicola, one of the two brothers who co-own the company. A very nice, knowledgeable and helpful guy who was happy to answer our numerous questions and discuss alternatives and prices with us. Highly recommended. Note: we also had JP and two other contractors bid on this job about 5 years ago, but had to delay it when we saw how expensive it would be. Guess what that accomplished? Instead of paying $12,500 five years ago, it cost about $16,500 in April of 2023. So, my advice is: don't delay your concrete job if you can avoid it -- prices only seem to move in one direction!"

"The HD Exteriors teams delivered outstanding results in replacing our existing rear deck and front porch with beautiful TREX decking. At the same time, they replaced all of the existing railings with fully coordinated maintenance-free railing. Really nice ! They also did demolition of an existing brick front stairway [which did not meet our county's code for good reason], and they then installed new front stairs with railing and additional safety features for us "senior citizen" types. It all leveraged the same high-quality TREX; but the exquisite CARE they went to in beautifully designing [per up-front concept drawings] and installing was truly a wonderful and very pleasant surprise. Special cudos to Mr. Omar and his team !! There was also a new installation of fully coordinated (i.e., TREX tpp railing) placed atop of a wall [with significant drop-off hazard] which was TOP NOTCH work, and fit in perfectly with all of their other beautiful work, AND helped us to meet Fauquier County code for safety requirements. In addition, HD Exteriors replaced siding on upstairs dormer windows and provided perfect color matching. Finally we'd like to cite the excellent customer service that each of the HD Exteriors personnel provided from start to finish. On that point, we'd like to provide dditional special cudos: To Mr. Jerimiah C. at the front-end of sales, pulling together concept drawings, helping us understand options and warranties, and nailing down contract costing. Also cudos to Mr. Mike P. at the conclusion of the projects who came out to specifically do final end-to-end Quality Assurance / Walk-through. Everybody at HD were very professional, courteous, responsive, and timely -- always arriving within 3 -5 minutes of an appointment time, even when they were coming quite a distance to get to our home. You'll see that we have provided the highest rating to each of the teams of HD professionals [importantly, extending to all HD Office Staff !] that supported our project work. Moreover, our experience with HD Exteriors has actually exceeded our expectations. We are more than pleased with the outcomes of all of the work that has been done on our home. My finished project is a retaining wall (3 feet tall by 40 feet wide) and a patio (12x24 feet) with beautiful pavers on both. The landscaping around the wall and patio was just what I wanted with river rock and plants. He transplanted the young trees that I wanted to keep and helped me pick out plants for the rest of the project. I had not imagined including lighting, but Elijah suggested it, and the lighting is beautiful. I also had a walkway installed that matches the paver patio style. It all looks so great, I am very happy with it. I highly recommend Cassella Landscaping. Elijah and his team were such a pleasure to work with and the finished project looks amazing."
