"This was definitely a 5 star operation from the initial discussions to the finishing touches! For a major renovation and upgrade to our master bathroom we reviewed potential contractors and their customer comments. VKB stood out. Our VKB designer Sean clearly has artistic talent and lots of design experience. He patiently worked with us, showing us 3D design options as we considered alternative configurations and materials. When we were satisfied with the design, Sean transitioned us smoothly to the build phase, introducing Jason as our project manager and Walter as our crew chief. Sean personally familiarized Jason with the project, inviting us to share our thoughts and any concerns. During the renovation, Walter and his crew would carefully isolate the MBR work from the rest of the house, sealing off the room and path to the front door with plastic barriers and floor coverings every morning and remove them every evening. Everyone was polite and sensitive to our living space. Jason was responsive to our wishes to refine several design aspects as the work proceeded, and Walter and his crew smoothly made the alterations. After the main construction was completed Jason remained very attentive to our ‘punch list’ of remaining details and our questions until all had been resolved. Walter ensured very high-quality work down to the finest detail. All the work from design to completion was well within the timeframe we had hoped. In the end, we have a beautiful MBR well beyond our original expectations!"

"Best Renovation Ever ARMS Home Improvement worked on 3 projects at my home-- Master Bathroom-- Guest Bathroom-- Electrical Panel Upgrade This company is honest, professional, helpful, and is able to hear what you want in your renovation and also add features that complement the design.  What I loved about working with them was the network of craftsmen/ craftswomen that they bring to the job, from the tile, cabinets, mirrors.  I was particularly impressed that when they worked on the accent tile, they brought in a specialist for 1 day to make sure the cuts were coordinated with the pattern.  They suggested lighting that I wouldn't have included, from their extensive experience in bathroom renovations.  I wasn't sure that the extra lights were needed, but they made a big difference in the finished bathrooms.  They also suggested moving a vent from the floor to under a cabinet, small things that make a world of difference, that I would not have thought of.  Finally, the made sure that the foundation, pipes, floor, etc was sound. The owner, Allen Metcalf, is someone that you want to know and wish he was your neighbor.  I was out of town and I needed assistance on a weekend and he stepped in to fix things.  Total lifesaver. I have two more projects planned for the future and ARMS Home Improvement is the company that I want to work with. "

They cleaned up daily so well that we only knew they had been there because of the progress of the work. And the bathroom now looks amazing! "Willis Builders did 2 full baths & kitchen reno + laminate floor install on main level of our modest 3-story T/H (Jan-Apr ‘24). Marcelo was our PM and as many others say, his crew did not disappoint. Willis was neither the highest nor the lowest quote of several but we felt Matt Willis presented the most honest and realistic estimate for our project and he hit that nail on the head. They might say we bothered them with questions; we might say we had to nudge them a few times. We did our homework to help things move along more smoothly & they did their best to accommodate us. We purchased a bunch of stuff before choosing a contractor. No matter what we threw at them, installation was a success which is a testament to the knowledge and capabilities of Marcelo & crew (Horatio, Frankie & “George”). When we were undecided or unsure about a product, Marcelo steered us toward better or more appropriate alternatives. We had no issue, as a few others suggested, with crews leaving things clean at the end of the day. Our T/H is small with limited space for them to work/store materials & equipment. We never felt compromised during 3 months of disruption. (And we never hesitated to leave our home when work was being done.) Is everything perfect? No, there is no such thing as perfection in an almost 40-yr old house reno or any reno for that matter. There were a few glitches as we expected, but uh-ohs and problems that arose were resolved promptly. We waited to post this glowing review of our project to see if any problems showed up, and none did. Until the ceiling in our bedroom collapsed several months later which had absolutely nothing to do with their work. We are so thankful that we had no reservations about sending Matt Willis an SOS for help with our emergency. In fact, we were so confident in his work that we decided to add painting and a carpet upgrade to what has become an almost total house reno. Again, Matt’s estimates were fair and reasonable, such that our confidence in his company allowed us to forgo spending time getting quotes from others. Matt told us repeatedly how good his ‘drywall guy’ was, and he did not exaggerate! Will & sidekick Carlos were fast and fastidious! The carpet install was equally quick and painless. We are so very happy with the results of our sudden and unexpected 2nd Willis project. We're sorry we didn’t get a chance to rave about how thrilled we are with the results of our 1st until now. "We highly recommend ! Dreamville Remodeling oversaw and executed a major addition to our home - the addition of a new kitchen, bathroom and basement transformation along with turning our carport into a living room, and internal restructuring to create new rooms for new uses. It was easy to work collaboratively with them, as we brought our ideas and vision for how we wanted the house to look, feel and function, and they brought their experience for making our vision a reality. We appreciated their frank but respectful input on a number of decisions ("really, the master bathroom should have two sinks") which have proven to be the correct choices! While a significant renovation, we were still able to live in the rest of the house as it went on. We also appreciated their input on decorating decisions (e.g., tile, paint, fixtures) that to us seemed initially overwhelming (so. many. colors.). "We used BlackStone Kitchen and Bath for an inside alteration project involving removing a couple of walls to turn three smaller rooms into a single living space. The project included installing new electrics, boxing hvac ducting, replacing the dry wall in one of the areas and installing new crown molding, chair-rail and skirting throughout to create a consistent look for the new space from the previous individual rooms. Project took five days and the team worked long days to ensure completion. Both the team leader (Walter) and Project Manager (Justin) were continually attentive to the details of the project and keen to ensure we were happy with the work as it was progressing and, of course, on completion. We are totally satisfied with the work done and the value-for-money in terms of both time and cost. "Note this review is for removing carpet and replacing with corelux floors in about 400 sq feet and recaulking and reglazing 2 bathrooms. Very professional and understanding of my budget needs. Juan was super patient with me; I modified the quote request about 10 times. His crew was kind, careful with clean up and ensuring they had drop cloths over as many areas as possible and always took their shoes off if walking on uncovered floor. They stuck to the timeline and budget. Couldnâ t be happier!"
