"Seiber responded quickly to evaluate problems of doors not closing right, spongy floor in spots and major cracks in the garage/laundry room. The work took three days in Sept 2023. The concrete work was a little noisy at times but the results were great. The garage door closes well. Fewer drafts are coming in that room and the nearby kitchen. Cracks the could trip me up are gone. They kept me informed on the progress and didnâ  t charge anything over their detailed estimate. The concrete finishers did a really nice job. Everyone on the job was polite and very professional. We talked about making somewhat larger footers for the supports and they did that. The hoses that piped the concrete to the back of the house and crawl space access leaked in spots. After the concrete hardened it required the use of a shovel to remove the overflow. I havenâ  t heard from the company much since the repairs were done, but my phone quit about that time so that may be why. Seiber might be the one to call for your older home."

"I highly recommend Robert and United Foundations! I had a serious drainage issue at the front of my house due to a cracked and sloping driveway. Unlike a competitor, Robert didn't just plan on replacing the driveway as is, he carefully figured out exactly what was causing my drainage issue and then adjusted his plans for my driveway according. For example, he raised the elevation on one side significantly, added an edge/lip to the side of the new concrete and added a drain. I was impressed with the detailed solutions he kept coming up with as he evaluated the issues. He even identified a serious issue with the concrete slab in my garage where the underlying support had washed away! Besides identifying and fixing my drainage and garage issues, I was also extremely pleased and impressed with how quickly his crew started and finished my project. The only negative I can think of is that I had to pay with a check. Given the cost of driveway repairs, a credit card option would have been helpful. "The damage was assessed from the basement and it was determined that the foundation was sound,however, there was an area where the water had been able to ( over the years) create a small ravine through which the water could access the basement. As the downpipe was blocked and we had a severe rainstorm the basement was assessable to the large amount of water frowing from the blocked downpipe. The workmen accessed the damaged area from the outside and repaired the area under the foundation and extended the downpipe so that future water would be taken away from the house by over 15ft. This was done quickly in one day. and we have not experienced any further damage."

Not wanting to keep patching something up and never address the root of the problem, I checked out Angie's List for "foundation repair" and called Ameri-Dry to set up an appointment. <br /> The receptionist (or whoever answered the phone) was courteous and professional, and set up an appointment for just a few days later based on my work schedule. I had a follow-up phone call the day before my scheduled appointment to confirm the work that they were coming to do, and ensure that they were sending an inspector who was experienced in the type of problems I was having. <br /> On the day of service, the inspector, Chad, arrived right on time. We walked through the house and I showed him my problem areas, then he went into the crawlspace to check the foundation around the perimeter of the house. When he came back up to let me know what he had found, I of course feared the worst, but he told me he couldn't find a single problem with my foundation, that it all looked good. Part of me was bracing for a "but you need waterproofing" sales pitch, but that never came. He did say there was a little water on one wall inside, but I knew why (a clogged downspout during a storm a week earlier) and had already taken steps to fix that problem. <br /> I was obviously very happy with the outcome of the inspection, and even though I didn't have any work done, I really came away impressed with the professionalism and honesty in the way this company seems to do business.
