"We had the best experience with this contractor for major exterior work on our home. The owner Sobi first came out to look over the multi faceted project. Our home is 50+ years old and a unique custom build. Many years of deferred maintenance led to extensive dry rot and a need to waterproof a very large roof deck. No contractor really wants to do this kind of work but not Sobi. He assured us that he has seen far worse and has solutions and ideas for our specific issues. This involved more of an investigative approach as he dove into a complicated drain pipe system that was built inside the walls. He found the issue and went to work replacing interior drain pipe connections, etc. He then addressed the extensive exterior dry rot. Some beams needed to be replaced, others could be salvaged. The other big issue, a huge roof deck that was leaking, Sobi had a solution that worked great for us, saving us money. He is very personable, professional, problem solver, just the best! "

Aleksandar Kastamanov and his son Aleks are both Perfectionists and men of good character they both demonstrate a willingness to work with you to address any concerns that arise during the project, they do quality work at a very competitive price, they are easy to work with, *accommodating and go beyond basic requirements for the sake of quality, safety, and stability. During the inspection the county inspector kept saying things like,* good job and most guys do not take the time to do that , referring to the qualify work they had done. They both demonstrate attention to details and invite input of ideas to see that you are happy with their work. This deck that Aleks replaced for me I built 50 years ago so I know what it takes to build a structure that will last through many years of use. Well, having watched their work from beginning to end I can tell you that Aleksander and Aleks have constructed a beautiful deck for us that is built to last for many many years. Attention to detail started when demolition began and lasted throughout the project until the final strand of stainless steel railing was installed. If you want a new deck or an old deck replaced there is a lot of contractors to choose from around but, if you want your project done right, done beyond the bare minimum required according to your City and County permits, and built at a very and competitive price, Kastamanov construction is the company for you. Aleksandar and his son Aleks are both men of integrity and good character, they are both easy to work with skilled and knowledgeable. Any future projects that I have, both interior and exterior will include a prejudiced request for a bid from Kastamanov construction."

"We hired Michael and his company, Northgate Development to repair an old deck in our backyard. It soon became obvious that the deck was not salvageable. After discussing it with Michael he gave us several options - replacing all the deck boards with redwood or with Trex deck boards. He was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of each option and the prices involved. In the end we decided to go with Trex. His installation of the deck with new supports and water proofing was beyond what I thought he would do. His employee Angel craftsmanship was excellent. When I identified a problem with one of the deck boards, he replaced it without problem. In the end, we spent more than we had budgeted but we are really happy with the results. If you need deck work, I recommend hiring Michael and his team. "
