"My initial contact was with Mark in late August or early September. We had arranged to meet and discuss the work that I wanted performed (pointing up the mortar on the brick chimney and under the windows on the front of the house). There were scheduling problems (for both parties) after one or two attempts and I was later contacted by Josh, who finally came out to my house in mid September to look at the job. I was impressed with Josh's knowledge, enthusiasm, and answers to my questions.
After discussing the scope of work to be performed, Josh assured me that someone would get back to me within a week with an estimate so we could schedule the job over the winter months. After a week went by, I called to see of they were working on an estimate and was assured that they "hadn't forgotten about me". After another 2 or 3 weeks, I called both Mark and Josh and left a message to see what was up as far as the estimate and scheduling.
It is now the second week in December and still I've heard nothing. I like these guys and I would like to have them perform the work, but at this point, I don't know if they are too busy or just don't want to do the work because it is not a big job. If that is the case, it would help if they would just tell me so. I hate to look elsewhere, but communication is an issue here so I may have to give up on these guys. Too bad.
I rated them as a "C" overall, with a "D" for responsiveness (or lack thereof) offset by a "B" in punctuality and professionalism

Corey, the owner of this company, arrived on time for our designated appointment, he had a courteous demeanor, provided me with a professional and knowledgeable description of his abilities to complete my project, and listened to my suggestions. "They hauled away trash, but I was told by the lady that came they did not take construction debris. The deal specifically states: "Removal of just about anything around your home, office, retail space, rental unit, warehouse, storage unit or job-site including old furniture, office equipment, boxes, construction debris, yard waste, appliances and more." They would not remove sheet rock or construction debris in contractor bags. Because I had plenty of junk to be removed they did fill up their truck. This, however, is false advertising.

The owner was on site for some of the project completions and worked with me, and was easy to communicate with. They did a great job!"

"Mark's Lawn and Landscaping did a beautiful job removing and old settled concrete walkway from the front of our house and installed a beautiful new paver walkway. They were prompt, showed up on the appointment date on schedule, and completed the job ahead of their original estimate. We are extremely happy with the new walkway and work that Mark and his crew performed, at a very reasonable price. We'll definitely call on Mark's again when it comes time to re-do our back patio."

"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

They responded quickly and meet our need to get the work done quickly. The quality of the work is very good. We are pleased with the work they did--it certainly met our needs.
