"I'm in the construction business, I know my way around, Willie and his crew are the real deal. They removed the 15 year old top layer of mossy / weeded gravel then spread fresh gravel, leveled it out and compacted it flat. The asphalt work they did on top gave me a gorgeous driveway. They know what they are doing. My driveway is very large and I feel I got great value for my money. You can't go wrong with County Wide Paving."

"Very prompt call and came out and gave me an estimate. Gave the okay and they were on it within 10min trimming trees back to lay down the asphalt parking lot. Adam's got a very efficient crew working with him and they went above and beyond leveling and such and even filled a bunch of pot holes in the alley with the excess asphalt. That was done last Tuesday. Today he did the same for my step mom and she is really pleased with the work he did. I would highly recommend him for your project."

"I do not believe they did the job so it will last. Some of the way they did items was not what I was told was the correct way. They used old asphalt pieces under gravel and did not cut old areas and pack. By the end of driveway they used pick and chip the concrete then layed the asphalt on top...instead of up to it and not straight either. where they matched at joint in the middle of my driveway is not a very clean line. The driveway goes up the side of my house....and it is not straight..it curves just a little....they did everything by eye...no measurements."

"Bruce and his crew are awesome. Not only did they do the requested work, they did so perfectly. They also went "above and beyond" by mowing the front yard - and by mowing and mulching the leaves in the back yard. The car port, driveway, and front entry steps were immaculate as well; no excess yard debris anywhere to be found. Bruce is professional, personable, follows through well, and is easy-to-work with. Bruce and his crew will be most welcome to return, anytime, for further work and additional projects."

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Dayton, OH

With routine care, an asphalt parking lot lasts 20 years. Plan to resurface every 15 years and sealcoat every three to five years, and tackle cracks as soon as they appear. Sticking to this schedule keeps the surface smooth, safe, and code-compliant, helping you get the full life span from your investment.

Installing a parking lot typically takes between two and four weeks, depending on factors such as size and weather conditions. The process includes ordering materials, site preparation, paving, curing time, and adding finish touches like paint striping. Please note that larger projects or unexpected weather delays may extend this timeline. Working with local professionals and suppliers can help keep the project on schedule and potentially reduce costs.

Maintenance depends on the surface you have. For asphalt, sealcoat every few years, resurface every 15 to 20 years, and patch potholes right away. Concrete lots require regular cleaning, inspections, and occasional patching. Whatever the material, create a maintenance calendar—and follow it—to keep the lot safe, attractive, and less expensive to own.

Apply a fresh sealcoat every two to five years, or sooner if heavy traffic fades the surface. Sealcoating fills hairline cracks, locks out moisture, and renews that deep black finish drivers recognize. Staying on schedule extends the pavement’s life and helps you avoid costly repairs down the road.

Professional sealcoating costs $0.15 to $0.30 per square foot, with rates influenced by lot size, local labor costs, and the type of sealer used. While you can rent sprayers, hiring a crew delivers even coverage, proper curing, and a warranty—advantages that protect both your pavement and your budget.
