They even attended a tricky permitting hearing to ensure our county zoning board had all of the facts to approve our build. The result has been nothing short of stunning, picturesque, and worthy of an award. "Hidden fees, gimmicks and falsified labor Do not work with Tim at Tristate. He bid on a quote we requested through Angi. He disclosed his service fee and that he would have an hourly labor charge depending on the tech he sent. The day before the job, he said he was adding a second guy to get the work done "before the cold snap" -- no other reason was disclosed. The men started work around 9:30am. We have a Ring garage camera that records to the cloud, so it wasn't hard to review their arrival and start time. By 9:43am they left to go pick up a small can of exterior paint and a smaller can of stain. We live 5 minutes from Ace and 15 minutes from Home Depot. They were gone an HOUR and 26 minutes--which I am going to find out only AFTER the job is complete that I would be expected to pay almost $390 in LABOR for that 90 minute road trip for 2 tiny paint cans, as Tim charged $130 per person per hour even for this time in transit--which took far too long given our proximity to stores and "

"Terry and Michael are great installers. The owner of the business is very hard to deal with and will not take care of issues that arise. I have been trying for 11/2 years to have my kitchen floor fixed. The owner Todd said I bought discontinued floor and it was my fault that it is coming apart. The tongue and groove edges cracked causing my floor to come up due to an employee beating my floor in place. The employee no longer works there but Todd refuses to fix my floor. I have gaps in my living room and a bad spot in my bedroom. I contacted the flooring company and they told me that the floor was not properly installed. They offered to send replacement flooring, but I would have to pay shipping. I would also have to pay someone to tear up my kitchen and install the new floor. Todd put frog tape on my floor and said they would get caulk and other things to fix my floor. This was 5 months ago and I never heard a word from them. Todd does not believe in customer service and once he has your money he is finished no matter what issues arise."
