"The workers were friendly and professional, and showed up when they said they would. They performed the required services, and when I asked if the staining might be a little uneven, they redid the entire deck. They also pressure-washed the algae-stained brick at my request, which was apparently not included in the original price, but needed to be done. They told me that the doors on the shed were rotting at the bottom, and for a very reasonable price, repaired the doors before restaining them. The doors would not rehang properly, so at my request, they moved the hardware around a bit so the doors worked. They also cleaned up after the job, and left the worksite in good condition. They did request partial payment after each phase of the job, and were faithful in completing the job so that we were happy with it. Because they were so busy, we did have to wait a number of weeks for them to apply a second coat of stain, and it turned out very well. The thing I liked best about this company is that they made sure I was happy with the work, and if not, they did whatever necessary to satisfy us. They were also reliable in doing what they said they would. I will try to post a picture of the deck if it ever stops raining."

"We appreciate Cougar Construction fitting us into their schedule, as it is a very busy time of the year.  We had a new back door installed by a different company.  Unfortunately, the slightly taller (standard) door did not clear the soffit in our 1950's kitchen, so we could only open our door half way.  We were hoping the soffit could be modified versus having to remove it and repair the ceiling and walls.  Cougar Construction only needed to modify the soffit, and they quoted us a very fair price.  Because our house was built in 1950, every wall and soffit is built with plaster.  This made the job more difficult, but Cougar Construction gave us a result that looks great.  They also replaced the trim around our back door.  They did a great job and paid a lot of attention to detail.  We are very pleased and will definitely use them again...and we can open our door now!

"Installed one light fixture and repaired one fixture. |They were unable to install a second fixture (wrong type) and unable to resolve a second repair outlet.  When they were unable to install the priority fixture due to being the wrong type, I had to scramble to find other work for them to do to fill the two hour commitment and get my money's worth.  They were unable to refund unused time.  The offer was for two hours electrical work for $100 and did not quite work out so well for me."
