"Not recommended!! Its a waste of money in my case. My kitchen sink underneath had a clog and a leaking pipe, So the pipe started leaking once the clog happened. The technician came, inspected quickly and quoted $1200 in this case. We did not approve the work and he charged $103. We had two more plumbing companies visiting after, one of them charged $525 (which is also high, but they completed the work) for just snaking And removing the clog, Another company was only quoting less than $200 for snaking and removing the clog. The work was offered to be completed in both the cases. As I am also reading from many reviews, I think Roto-rooter will just come and quote high and charge the visiting fees."

"This is a mixed review, but I would hire again. Doug is very knowledgeable and pleasant, everyone I dealt with at the company is very polite, they did a great job getting rid of the black algae, workers were prompt and courteous. However, at the outset I mentioned the one negative review where a customer stated that his plants were killed. I inquired about precautions and was assured that this must have occurred with a roof cleaning where they use a stronger solution and leave it on, and a light misty rain following the application could wash the strong solution down on the plants. Since a much weaker solution would be used on my brick and stucco siding, and it would be washed off promptly, and they would use multiple equally mild applications washed off promptly each time until the algae was gone, there is no way my plants would be damaged, they assured me. Well, actually almost every plant that had contact with the solution had severe leaf burn from the cleaning solution. The company was very apologetic and said they had no idea why this happened, and tried to make it right by coming out to apply a complementary foliar feeding to help the plants recover. I appreciate that, and hopefully I will not lose any of the plants, but they are very unsightly right now with all the damaged foliage. It is fortunate that I was having the pressure washing done in preparation for an exterior paint job, and not for a party at my house! I had watered the roots in well prior to the pressure washing, since I saw that tip online for pressure washing in general, but this did not prevent damage to the leaves. So if you have expensive landscaping you might ask what other measures can be taken to protect your plants. The other issue I had was due to ignorance on my part. I thought that pressure washing would brighten the brick porch floor and the stone surrounding the pool. I was surprised to see that there was still a white haze after the pressure washing. It turns out that this haze was due to calcium deposits from twenty years of watering plants, just like the white haze you might have on brick siding from the sprinkler system. Pressure washing with a bleach solution does not help to remove calcium deposits, so that is why there was not any improvement in the appearance after the pressure washing. I did not know that, and it had not been mentioned to me ahead of time that perhaps my problem was mineral deposits rather than something that could be removed with a bleach and detergent solution. The company did come out promptly to take a look, and explained that pressure washing cannot be expected to help with the haze from mineral deposits. I looked this up online and brick masons use an acid solution to clean brick and remove calcium deposits, but it is easy to damage the brick if the solution is too strong. On a different issue, I have left the mud daubers alone over the years since they eat black widow spiders, which we do have in abundance in our yard, but their nests need to be removed if you are repainting. The company offers hand scrubbing for removal of mud dauber nests and stain, but it is very labor intensive and thus rather expensive. My husband decided to do the hand scrubbing himself, so we did not utilize that service."

"Technician looked at control pressed the liter button and the burner lite. He then wiped his hand over one of the side vents and said that could have been the problem...did not vacuum off the vents. Nothing wrong with control valve. Charged me $150 for lilting the heater. When I questioned the charge, he said that was a discounted charge. Never gave me an estimate for what the work cost...because nothing was wrong with heater. Talked with their manager and got the story about how much it cost to run the business. They offered to take $25 off bill. Their service assessment is $49...would have considered that to have been fair because that's all he really did. Have done business in the with A-Better Plumbing for home and rental property and charges were fair. Understand they have new owners. Senior taken advantage of..."

"Texas Premier Plumbing, Thank you so much for the amazing work you did today in Sugar Land! After the landlord sent out three different plumbers — and none of them truly fixed the issue — your team came in and got it done right. No more backed-up sewer in the bathrooms and tubs — such a relief. Even more impressive, by knowing your craft so well, you saved a beautiful, old oak tree that was almost removed because others wrongly blamed its roots. Your professionalism, knowledge, and care made all the difference. I’m beyond grateful. ❤️ Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Ronnie is excellent. He did need to come to my house more than once to get a handle on a hard-to-locate leak, but this is what he did on one of those visits: I had had very low water pressure for 18 months, following the freeze last year in February, and I had just never gotten around to taking care of it. Another company (large chain) had installed a new water heater 2-3 months before the leak discovery; at that time I mentioned the low water pressure problem at least 20 times but no one paid any real attention. When I called them back for an estimate on the leak repair, they convinced me that, with the low pressure and the leak, my house just needed to be re-piped and quoted me $8,000 - not including the sheetrock repairs that would be necessary. Thank heavens I decided to get a second opinion. Ronnie took a walk around the house and checked the gateway shutoff valve that I had used to turn the water off and then back on after the freeze. I had simply neglected to open it all the way - hands probably not strong enough. He then came back to locate and repair a very messy, hard-to-reach hot water leak for under $1400. The way I see it, his competence, his real interest in solving problems the simplest way, and his honesty saved me about $8,500."
