"I own a house which is around 90 years old. Its basement had compromised walls, one of which was seriously bowed. In addition, after heavy rain, the basement floor would be wet. I got estimates from three companies to correct these problems. Pivotal was a clear standout. The owner Jeff, his family members Andy and James, along with the rest of the crew make up a terrific team. Jeff and Andy visited my basement twice for long and detailed planning sessions. The actual work took 7 days for completion with James as foreman. All the problems of my basement were fully addressed. My bowed wall is now vertical, with strong supports along all walls every few feet. A complete waterproofing system was installed which feeds to my sump pump. Cleanup after completion of the work was very thorough. Bottom line: Pivotal is a totally trustworthy top quality company!! "

"I wish all the contractors on this basement project were as good to deal with as Family Waterproofing. Throughout the whole process, communication was good. Ken the owner was responsive and patient in answering all my questions and addressing concerns. They prepared a detailed contract of all work to be performed, and did what they said they would. I like that they did an exploratory dig after signing the contract to make sure we had a solid plan and avoid any surprises during installation. There was an area under the basement stairs and an old cistern that required a creative solution. They came up with a solid plan that didn't add extra cost. I asked them to pour some extra concrete under the stairs which wasn't included in the contract, which they did for a good price. The crew was friendly and had a good natured camaraderie on the job. The overall cost was very fair and we received great service and quality. They are honest, care about their customers and want you to be happy. Now I'm looking forward to a big rain!"

We contact Jack-a-Slab in January and after a little phone tag because of some reduced hours for winter we were on the schedule for as soon as weather allowed. They called in April with a few days notice to make sure someone would be home, and they brought the sidewalk up to grade quickly and for a very reasonable price compared to a full sidewalk replacement. You can see in the photo how far the sidewalk had sunk based on where the planter area on the left is sunk as well."
