"My water meter was running and we could not figure out where the problem was.  The first appointment at $200 was just to a**** where the leak was. That technician said I had a slab leak and was 90% sure it was in the kitchen giving me an estimate of $1800-$2400 to find and fix the problem.  When I scheduled for this to happen a different technician came and was the one that said it was in fact not a slab leak but a problem with a toilet and a valve.  He again charged me for the initial detection of where the leak was and then fixed the problem.  I was more than happy to again pay the $200 for finding the leak because I felt I was getting an amazing deal considering I thought I'd be paying around $2000 that day.  I'm not really sure what to think.  Both men seemed to be very competent and knew what they were talking about.  In fact the first man I believe is the owner of the company but both had very different solutions.  I do not feel that they were overcharging or taking advantage I just think the pricing is excessive for the work performed.
