They also performed some general carpentry, like planing a door that was scraping the floor, and they repaired some siding that had been displaced by an ice dam during the winter. He pointed out that he could also replace some wooden pickets on the fence which I needed to have done but didn't think about asking him as getting the gate repaired was more important. He came out on Friday morning and repaired the gate and replaced pickets as well as secure a section of fencing. He did a great job. Bertie was very polite and punctual.
