"Neil came out and gave us an estimate along with recommendations on what shade of white would look nice. The first working day he came out to remove all of the cabinet doors, drawers (36 of them!) and a few shelves and he painted the boxes. He took the doors and drawers home to spray them (he hand-painted the boxes so we didn't have to shut down the room which was nice). while painting the doors he discovered a slight difference in the door paint vs the box paint (he showed me and honestly I would have never known) so he came back out and repainted the boxes. At this time he brought a sample he had done of the cabinet door antiquing detail (he hand-painted some of the grooves) so we could approve that. When he finished the cabinets he even went back and caulked areas and touched up our walls in spots that may have needed it. Even with the paint color issue, all the hand-painted detailing and Christmas coming up, he still finished ahead of schedule and we had a new kitchen for Christmas! He was incredibly professional throughout the process and an easy-going nice guy. It's been 4 months and I still walk into my kitchen and just stare at the cabinets because I love them so much now! I would (and have) highly recommend him to anyone looking to have any painting done!"

"Amazing group of repair professionals. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman Pittsburgh East. The deck on my house needed to be replaced. Rick, the Project Manager, and Todd, Chuck, Shawn and Jack, the service techs who worked on the deck, were excellent, very professional and neat, cleaning up every day. When I started talking with Rick about this project, I thought it wasn't going to possible for me to have everything taken care of in one undertaking. I must admit that cost was the major stumbling block. The deck is large and lumber/material costs took my breath away. But Rick worked with me, adjusting the materials and the design and making suggestions to help me make it happen! The deck was completed yesterday and I couldn't be happier. "Grover and his team showed up and painted all the exterior trim of our one story ranch in two days from red to blue. Overall the job looks pretty good, especially from the street. Up close there are areas that were not prepped as good as I would have expected but they will likely hold up fine to the elements. Repairs to the wood fascia were all done with filler and caulking, even on larger areas. From the ground these look okay and I think will keep water out, but replacement of rotting areas of boards would have been a better fix and I think would have been more more in line with what we paid. The quote had two coats of SW Duration. The paint used, SuperPaint, while good was not what was quoted. There are also a few small spots that I will need to touch up with the left over paint, but that may just be the perfectionist in me. The job did feel a little rushed. While I don't think R&G did a bad job, I would shop around a bit more in the future. Paid 1/3 up front, and the rest after the job. Grover asked if we could pay some with cash, which we did, and the rest with check. The cashed check was not for the correct amount however and I am working with the bank to fix. I will assume this was an honest mistake though."

"I will admit I am hard to please, but I am BLOWN AWAY with the painting/restoration this company has performed in my home. They painted every visible surface, plastered walls that needed repaired, refinished my original oak kitchen with a white finish, and have gone over my home with a fine tooth comb to ensure my satisfaction. Nate Conroy, the owner, could not be any kinder or more professional. His crews, especially Tommy and Michael Caldwell, are trustworthy, professional, and efficient. "The painter arrived on time and began painting immediately. I paid for 8 hours of painting and he completed the job in less then 8 hours and actually put a second coat on. "I'm picky about painting. For me to be satisfied, I had to see clean, straight lines, smooth finishes, and no splatter or messiness on the job. Wayne and his crew were great! Wayne was here every day with a crew of painters, and they were totally professional. Wayne's bid was almost the lowest bid, but I didn't want my house painted by the lowest bidder -- been down that road before. Best of all, they had the whole job done in slightly less than three days. The walls and ceilings are simply beautiful."
