"No problems with the quality of the work or the time it took, but it was surprisingly expensive. So much so that I almost regretted having the work done. The plumber found the shut-off valves inoperable and began replacing them without telling me about it or the additional cost. I should have looked over his shoulder more often and asked more questions, but I did not. Any repairman beginning additional repairs without asking really rubs me the wrong way and leads to a "B" rating at best and a "No" on hiring again. Learn from my mistake: make certain that you do your research on pricing and agree on a price range and scope of work with Geiler (or anyone, for that matter) before they begin the work."

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

"Mike Craw came with someone he was training.  They arrived on time, took up the toilet, replaced the wax seal, and then raised and leveled the toilet.  Our pipes are old so he explained that eventually the pipes would probably have to be replace because of corrosion but that it could wait.  He then cleaned out the main drain from the toilet which greatly improved the flushing capacity.  I would definitely use Craw Plumbing again."

"We had a non-functioning sump pump of course, over the weekend. I looked up on Angie's list, and found this company that does services over the weekend at additional cost. We called, and were promptly answered . We were given a quote right away over the phone, which was over our budget. So we decided to wait till the next bushiness day, and on Monday morning, we called a few companies around for pricing and availability. We did find some very expensive quotes, some relatively cheap ones ( like 200$) cheap than the THE PLUMBER INC, but didn't get a professional attitude from the one with cheap pricing. So we decided to go with called THE PLUMBER INC and appointed them to do the above mentioned job. They were very professional and patient in answering our questions. Gave us the website and exact details for our products. They were also able to accommodate us within the very same day, to get the installation done. The works-man showed up at appointed time, had shoe covers on , so that my carpet stayed clean :) Even cleaned up the gravel and the erosions. Did the job right, and they stand by for guarantee for the services performed. Great experience. Will refer them and rehire them."

"Our 36 year old 154' deep rock well finally got to the point there was only 8' of water in it, in early December '25. Water level was so low, pump was sucking air and couldn't be lowered anymore. Time for a new well. I asked our Lowell, IN. Facebook page for recommendations and Sowles name came up several times (pronounced Soles). I called them and Mr.Sowles came out the next day and gave me a quote on the spot for a new well, a 'shallow sand well' this time. Several of our neighbors have them as well as a large landowner/farmer the Krolls 1/2 mile down the road from us. Mr. Sowles and his crew came out a week later when the weather was better and drilled a 45' deep well, set a new pump, replaced our old pressure switch in the basement, and we have water again, thank goodness. I'd been maintaining our old well for the last 28 years after the original driller sabotaged the well in 1997. I was able to unblock it and lower the pump and it was fine till this December."
