"Alexei was the installer. He was on time, very professional, explained the process and cleaned up when the job was completed. Very personable. My project was the replacement install of an attic step ladder. Would recommend him to my family and neighbors."

"I'm so happy with Robert's work, work ethic, communication and attention to detail that I'll be hiring him for additional projects. It's wonderful to work with someone who takes pride in his work and ensures you are comfortable every step of the way. Robert patched the bathroom subfloor and spackled many rooms in the house that showed cracking due to settling or water damage (around windows). In addition, he replaced a toilet, hung a heavy mirror, and replaced bathroom lights. All of this was done with care. I work from home and my kids often school from home and he made sure to avoid noise during meetings, etc. He was also generous with his expertise, open to discussing ideas, but never pushed to take on more than was requested. I'm happy to share such a good experience."

"I would give Travis more than 5 stars if that were possible. I hired him through HomeAdvisor knowing that heâ s licensed and insured, to install a keyless door lock. Travis responded to my request immediately and he was polite, professional, and patient with my questions. He showed up on time and prepared to start the job. He met each obstacle that popped up, such as missing and broken parts, with workable solutions. I appreciated his attention to detail â and he also cleaned up the work site when finished. Travis went above and beyond to be certain everything was done well. I highly recommend Travis for any project."

"Marshall repaired and upgraded our deck and also completed many other small handyman projects around the house in preparation for a home sale. He and his team did great work. He was also very responsive and met or exceeded promised timeframes for completion. He also proactively followed up afterward to ensure everything was satisfactory. Highly recommended!"

"Devonte was extremely helpful. The communications were candid and honest. I was offered various ways to complete my repair which balanced time against cost. I appreciated the detail I was provided about my options. If I were to experience another need for garage door repair or replacement, I would probably utilize this company again."

FAQs for weatherstripping service projects in Denver, CO

Yes—sealing every operable door and window gives you the best defense against drafts, insects, and wasted energy. Gaps add up, so weatherstripping the full lineup of doors and windows in your home keeps conditioned air inside and pests outside. A whole-home approach can trim utility bills and make each room more comfortable year-round.

Swap out worn strips as soon as you spot cracking, gaps, or daylight around the seal. Taking a small sample to the hardware store helps you match the profile and size. A quick check each spring and fall keeps minor wear from turning into full-blown drafts and preserves your energy savings.

The lifespan hinges on both material and traffic. Expect to change the main-entrance foam or felt every two to three years, swap V-strips every five years, and maintain interlocking metal for decades with an occasional tune-up or repair of a small section. A quick annual inspection catches wear early and keeps your home draft-free and efficient.

Start by closing each door or window and feeling along the edges for drafts or visible light. Check seams, corners, and any spots where strips pull away. When a section looks brittle or loose, peel it off, clean the surface, and measure the gap before cutting a replacement to size. Follow the manufacturer’s directions, and call a pro if you’re dealing with specialty materials or tricky thresholds.
