There were some edge ceiling tiles that needed to be removed to reach the power line and Bill did very clean work with the removal and disposal. Bill showed cross sections of the older range power line and the new line installed, describing the differences in insulation and safety features of the newer line. Bill went above and beyond by detecting the wrong cord on the new range, and replaced this with the proper range gauge power cord. Bill also helped us to correctly position and level the new range appliance. "John was responsive and quick to set a meeting for an estimate. he honored the Angie's List deal for a panel upgrade plus a slight upcharge for going from a 100 amp to 200 amp panel. He also inspected an outlet I was having issue with. This original work was done on 5/27/2016. Unfortunately, when the cold weather came and I turned on my electric heat, it didn't work. I called John and he quickly made an appointment for one of his electricians to come out and check the heat on 11/14/2016. Adam and another gentlemen came out and assessed the issue and was able to get the heat back on as the heat was hooked up to another area in the attic of the house, Adam was also able to trace the outlet I had issue with, put a blank cover on the outlet and ensured the wiring was tied off and not an issue. They took there time and found out the issue and corrected it quickly. They also didn't charge me for the second visit. Honest and professional. Do not hesitate to contact John and his guys!"

"Electrical in an older home can be complicated. We had several people give outrageous estimates or never show up to do the work. Stapleford electric was prompt in providing an estimate and completed the work with quality. The cost for installing a new outlet and bracing for a large, heavy chandelier was fixed cost and other work was a time and materials rate. Both were reasonable and they knew what they were doing with the old style wiring. We had an additional expense to get plaster repaired separately but that would have been the case no matter who did the electrical work - they referred us to a master plasterer which was great. I have no reservations to recommend or use Stapleford again."
