My only problem is that I was not aware that the part Bill ordered for our storm door was NOT just a small part as I was told but an entire frame for the entire door! What I thought was an easy fix ended up costing me $250. The price for the frame was $75. I feel totally overcharged. "

"Ron Bishop came out to do our work. We had a potting bench that was is disrepair and a shutter that had blown down from a second story window. Ron got right to work and did an incredible job on the bench repair. He did a job in hours that would have taken me weeks and multiple trips to the store. He also made quick work of remounting the shutter. Ron was very knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and a joy to deal with. Also, Mr Handyman’s office did well with scheduling and communication. Nice work and highly recommended."

"Robbie was a life saver, as I wasn't sure how I was going to deal with the filing the two doors. He let me know the glass door didn't have a real lock but he could put one in to match my front door. He even suggested which glass door would be best (I have three.) He was very personable, friendly, helpful, and willing to do the extra job that suddenly came up without a fuss. He spent a few hours making sure he covered all the bases and that I was satisfied. He even phoned me cause he saw me lingering at the front door lock when he was pulling away to make sure everything was okay. (I was actually trying to take the combination key lock off the door which had nothing to do with the work he did.) You can imagine how exhausted my husband and I are with this big move, and to have someone come in and take something unexpected off our list with such attention to detail was just amazing! I will without a doubt recommend Harvey's services to anyone."

We had a couple of issues with products that were outside of MK's control but they were very diligent in following up with the companies to ensure that we received replacement parts, i.e. a couple of damaged doors received as well as a broken window. John has completed other projects in the past for us and has never disappointed. Excellent craftmanship, communication skills, and a desire to accommodate make working with John a pleasure."

"The repair person arrived prepared to do a quick fix on the existing lock mechanism, but discovered he had to return to the shop to get supplies.  When he returned he ran into difficulty as my door set up didn't work with his locks.  He had to replace the entire set of locks, and again he had to return to the shop for the supplies.  Although it was a long service visit, and inconvenient that he didn't have all of the necessary equipment, he was polite, honest, and willing to do the job right (even though I think his shift was over!). He did not charge me for the entire time, which was respectable and fair. <br />"
