"Worst experience I?ve ever had with home construction. If you choose to use Derrick, get absolutely everything in writing and do NOT share your credit card information. My initial payment was made in June 2025, but the job did not begin until September 2025, and the back steps were not completed until January 2026. Even then, the work did not include the services or discounts that were promised. There was absolutely no plan to finish up the project and tie everything together. I have recently discovered that debris that I assumed was ?removed? was instead dumped into the holler behind my house. This debris includes inorganic materials that cannot be retrieved, creating an environmental and property issue that I now have to live with. This discovery has left me beyond angry and deeply disappointed. Based on my experience, I do not recommend R and D Lawn Care and Landscaping."

"Excellent job. He does my lawn mowing weekly. Always goes above and beyond to do whatever needs to be done. He always removes leaves in fall and cleans snow from my driveway in winter. I have had problems with bugs on my plants this year and he took care of that. Very knowledgeable in his field of work. I would highly recommend him !!! "Ron yoder one of the owners of the natrual state landscaping and curbing went into partnership with Keeton Lefgren and committed timber theft on my property, using the natrual state equipment and trucks to haul my timber, fully knowing this man had a felony for timber theft once before! We had never been paid, they damaged the land, dropping a large cedar on the septic tank and busting it, as well as stripped the value of the trees, depreciated the value of the timber and left trees fallen, cut wrong and worthless. They never took them to a sawmill, no invoices, no payment. This company, Ron Yoder, keeton lofgren and John raped our land and caused detrimental damages to our property and family FULLY AWARE they were working with a serial con man who has over 10 CRIMINAL AND CIVIL CASES AGAINST HIM! Two in October of 2025 plus Two more at the first of November! Do not do business with this company or these people! I'm reaching out to the attorney General, the prosecuting attorney & BBB"

"Had to start with Watersmith partially into the season since my last outdoor company couldn't respond in a reasonable amount of time. I needed some sprayer heads added and changed as well as the backflow test done and results forwarded to the city before starting the season. Watersmith has two departments (Irrigation and Lawn) but a single office team that you can reach on the phone, M-F. They will set appointments and relay information to the appropriate team. And also handle billing. Services cost slightly more than my last company I had but having a live person/s in the office during the work week is worth it. On this Labor Day w/e I discovered I was leaking water up through my front lawn and gave them a call and after pressing #2 got an on-call tech who came over within a hour and shut the water off till they reopen the following week. Was very pleased with that response! While I did not signup for the pre-pay plan this year (only 5% discount) they spelled out what the remaining treatments will cost as well as the sprinkler blowout this fall. I also want to see the results before committing long term."
