"The experience with Renaissance Floor and Carpet was awesome! I was looking for a professional and credible company to replace the hardwood floors in my home. After reading several reviews, I contacted Renaissance Floor to discussed the project. Basir came to my home with various floor samples, took measurements, and provided an estimate with cost effective suggestions and a detailed project timeline schedule. As outlined in the project timeline schedule, materials were delivered and the project was completed in a timely manner. I cannot say enough great things about the work crew that worked on my project. The assigned work crew was extremely professional, possessed incredible technical knowledge and delivered superior quality work. They arrived and left as scheduled daily and made sure all work areas were cleaned and tools neatly stored. In addition, I was extremely impressed with the efficiency of the crew and their ability to reassembled our furniture from every room to the exact location without our assistance. Overall, Renaissance Floor and Carpet is a great company. They provide quality work at competitive prices and their customer service is outstanding, specifically from Basir and Amir the two managers I had the pleasure of working with. "Bought a home that needed top to bottom renovations, including almost 2000 sq ft of new hardwood, another 2000 of old hardwood floors/steps/banisters refinished, another 2000 of luxury vinyl installed, and carpet steps ripped out and replaced with hardwood. Of ALL our MANY contractors (tile, electric, painting, handymen, etc), Masood was the one person who's team showed when he said he would 100% of the time, did a great job the FIRST time (one crew ripped up old carpet and installed all the hardwood in ONE day, and another crew installed the vinyl in ONE day as well - honestly, I didn't think that much could be done in so short a time). He provided great pricing and wonderful service, advising me which flooring would be more durable and ordering in a flooring I liked best rather than pushing me into something easier to get. Masood is very easy to work with and made sure everything was done well. We had used him at a previous house and been happy there as well, but the new flooring in this house made a huge difference. "I recently had luxury vinyl planks installed in my galley kitchen, washroom/laundry room, and bathroom. All three of these spaces are tight quarters. However, the crew from District Floor Depot (DFD) did a fantastic job despite the limited space! (The required moving the refrigerator, stacked washer/dryer, stove, and 2 toilets.) The crew made it look like it was a piece of cake to do though I do know there were definitely challenges along the way. It took the crew about a day and half to complete. Each time there was an obstacle, the folks at DFD were quick to resolve, for example, they were a few planks short to complete the job. Rather than taking short cuts, they crew had the additional planks brought over and the job was completed to my satisfaction. All minor concerns that I had had were quickly resolved. I was particularly impressed with the post-installation service provided. I had a question about a “soft spot’ on the floor (the installation was “floated” atop of the existing underlayment) that I felt might cause premature wear. My concerns were quickly addressed (it turned out with “floating” floors having a ‘soft spot’ near a transition sight was normal and that no premature wear would occur.) I would definitely recommend District Floor Depot and would use them again!"

"The sales person, Steve, did a good job understanding our needs. The quote was very straight forward to see each room's costs (i.e., removal, prep, refinishing). They provided some helpful FAQs to help understand the process. We also heard from other neighbors that used Elegant Floor Services and had wonderful experiences. The 3 person crew arrived promptly at 8:00am each morning and worked non-stop 8 hours each day. They were very polite, friendly, and wore face masks when necessary. The crew supervisor spoke English well enough to bring things to our attention or allow us to ask questions. I was also impressed with the crew's attention to detail especially in the rooms where we needed new wood floors added. Overall job took 8 calendar days of which the crew was at our house 7 days. My family and I stayed in the house during this period. Now that the work is done, no one would be able to tell the difference between the rooms refinished vs newly done. There is one common flooring throughout our main level! Next on our list is to have our upstairs wood floors refinished. We'll definitely be using Elegant Floor Services for that work! Thanks, Pat"

"Excellent.  He arrived promptly at 8 am and went straight to work cleaning the inside of our windows.  (Several of the windows were in difficult to reach areas and had not been cleaned since he was here 2 years ago!). He then proceeded outside to power wash the house and garage door, then clean the outside of our windows.  He worked diligently for 4 hours. "

"Highly Recommended - Professional and Dedicated Work I had Juan install vinyl plank flooring in both of my bathrooms, and I'm very impressed with the quality of his work. He committed a full day of effort to the project and demonstrated genuine attention to detail throughout. The flooring looks fantastic, the planks are laid straight, the transitions are clean, and the overall finish is exactly what I was hoping for.
