Customers say: True professional

"Neil was very professional and explained the options we had with redoing our cabinetry. He was meticulous with our cabinets and hardware both with removal and installation. They look brand new and match perfectly with the cabinet boxes. Also, in regards to our basement, he brought a paint representative to examine our flooring since it had been sealed before incorrectly by a basement sealing company. He sealed our basement floor and it looks great."

Small jobs welcome

"He came on Monday and taped everything off and applied primer. Took doors home to spray. Second day he applied first coat. Third day he applied second coat. Third day put a third coat on. Fourth day he had a funeral. Fifth day he brought the doors back and I inspected them and he said they were fine. They looked terrible as you can see in the pictures . I don t believe that he ever painted cabinets before. He charged me 179.00 to rent the sprayer. My husband put the doors on and from a distance they looked even worse ok . Upon standing in front of them you can see the flaws. I m embarrassed to even show anyone my kitchen."

"Quick to reply, same day estimate, and was even able to get my desperately unkempt lawn handled the next day. They did a great job! I’ll be keeping them on all summer."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Donora, PA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
