"I was in need of a professional Tree service due to a nice-sized branch falling onto my neighbor's walkway. Called a few services and decided to go with Taperia Tree Service after meeting Tony. My goal was to have the tree cut completely down. Tony and crew were able to come out the next day. It was very impressive to see the job completed in one day. They also did an excellent job of cleaning the work area (property and street). Taperia Tree Service will be the first call or recommendation if ever a tree service project is needed again. Trust me, this kind of project is best left to the professionals."

"Patrick and his team were wonderful to work with for our stone and brick repointing! They came on time as scheduled for both the quote (which was very fair for the work that needed done) and actual work start date. The work they did looks amazing, and they took care to make the new sections of mortar have the same style as the old sections on our beautiful Victorian. Patrick even pointed out several other issues (some of which we were aware of), and prioritized them based on severity. We will happily be hiring them again for our masonry needs!"

"Frank and his team did a fabulous job! From start to finish Frank was helpful and informative. His experience in the concrete business was a plus. The job was a major overhaul and the finished product adds both beauty and value to our property. D&D removed an exsisting brick sidewalk, bushes, grass and iron fencing. They prepared the site and poured on two separate days to allow full access for our tenants to the building. Frank made sure the area was safely barricades while the cement cured. Throughout the project he communicated plans and the progress of the job. I highly recommend D&D concrete ~Trudy"

"Asked for plan and time to completion for the work. What I received was the bums rush and no plan. Since I didn't just fall of the turnip truck, I declined any further contact. Maybe it was just a bad day for them and they may perform nice work. I based my decision on initial contact and interaction.

"I purchased a big deal through angies list for 100 sq feet of new concrete. The owner of the company contacted me within a day. He came out to look at what I wanted within another day. I had a 10x10 section of my driveway that was cracked and sinking. He told me it would be no problem. We waited for the weather to break before scheduling a day and time. I was contacted on April 1st and they came promptly at 8am on April 2nd. The work was done very professionally. They took great care at not damaging any other sections of my driveway. The work was completed and looks great. They even repaired a section of hardscaping I had that was sinking. I would highly recommend them for any concrete work and I look forward to working with them in the future."

"It went pretty well. Overall the work looks good with the one issue being that in one spot the grout color blend with existing grout is not as good as Steve told us it would be. Positives: 1) Steve listens very well, is cooperative, responsive, flexible and knowledgeable in his craft. 2) He offered us several stone choices to replace the intercom and then he cut down the stone that we chose to fit into the wall. 3) He provided grout samples ahead of time. That said, in one spot near our front door where he grouted in a new stone the grout does not match as well as he said it would - so that is not as good as we had hoped. We wish the color was warmer to blend better with the old grout. 4) Overall the work is good. Obviously the test of stone work is how it lasts over time, so we don't know about long term durability right now. 5) Steve went above and beyond by agreeing to glue back in place a broken slat on a second story vinyl shutter - I appreciated that a lot because it looked bad and it was too high up for me to glue it. 6) Steve and his assistant cleaned up pretty well. Opportunities for improvement: 1) A better match on grout color. 2) Steve is super busy, our job was small so he had to squeeze it in. Steve had to reschedule the delivery of grout samples 3-4 times and reschedule the job 3-4 times."

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Drexel Hill, PA

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
