"Ryan said he was not the cheapest but he was the best. We paid extra money for what he promised would be the best. What was said was going to be done was not done. Then he says he never said things he definitely did. The contract says to reframe my deck and he will say things like Reframe does not mean reframe. We got ripped off. Not worth the money. Now a lot of money later, we have to hire someone else to complete the job. You will get scammed."

Once we agreed he started when he said and completed the project as said. Made a few small changes along the way and I understood there would be a change or order fee but it was worth it. Another decision helper for me was that he is a veteran and that is big when it comes down to looking at estimates."

"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

"What was originally going to be a $18,000 dollar job, where the other company was going to have to excavate under my house to remove old plumbing, I decided to get a second opinion. After contacting several plumbing services, I contacted JJS Services. They were the only ones who realized that I did not need to excavate and were able to fix the problem for a fraction of what I was expecting to pay! They jack hammered the downstairs bathroom, replaced the old plumbing, and professional installed new tiles for great price. I appreciate JJS Services honesty and professionalism.
