"We hired Fortin Landscaping in the fall to redo areas around our home with plantings. We were pleased with the professionalism and attention to detail. We hired them again in early spring to do additional work. They are responsive to requests and their crew is on time and efficient. Highly recommend for any landscaping and stone work."

"When they showed up, they did a good job.  My lawn needed to be mowed at least every 2 weeks.  His business was more based in Warner Robins so coming to Macon seemed to be a stretch and if it rained it would prolong how often he would head up to Macon to mow my lawn.  I did fulfill a one year contract.  He did damage a window in my door, and had that replaced quickly. <br />"

"Joshua is very knowledgeable, knowing the names of most flowers, trees, grasses, vines, and hedges and how to make them thrive. He is also well informed of most yard weeds, disease, fungi, invasive plants and pests and which treatment to use to rid the problem. Joshua has always impressed me with his skills, attention to detail and pride in his work quality. If it isn't right he fixes it. The only negative thing I have to say is that sometimes his schedule is booked and I have to wait a few days for him to come out. It's best to have scheduled lawn and pest care (4x a year)"

"I contacted Mr. Boone this past week to provide an estimate on cleaning up our landscape. I left a message and he returned my call the same day. We agreed upon a mutually convenient time for him to come to our property and give us an estimate. When he was running slightly behind due to a job he was on and couldn't be at our home precisely when he said he would be, he called to let me know what time he would be here. I really appreciated that! As my husband and I explained the work we wanted done, he was very attentive and asked very specific questions to be sure we were all on the same page. We received an e-mail from him that evening with the cost for the job, which we found very reasonable. He and his crew were out two days later and completed all of the work that we requested. Mr. Boone and his crew are very professional and conscientious! It is apparent that Mr. Boone runs his company with great diligence and integrity. He and his crew exceeded our expectations. It was a pleasure doing business with him, and we will definitely be calling on Pro-Vision in the future! <br />"

"It went well. The house was for the most part above average quality. There were many out-of-the-ordinary custom design aspects of the house that were tricky to execute which were expertly executed. And the contractor kept his word on costs even at his personal expense. Overall I was very pleased - would have him build another house without hesitation. <br />"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Dry-branch, GA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
